Rebirth Example - Layman Jihua Li was Reborn At Ease 李濟華居士 自在往生

Let's see how the layperson is going. Pure Land Dharma, in particular, is the most important for us laymen. Laymen don't have the pure blessings like the monks do. Say farewell to family and cut off affection, and go into the deep mountains.
Cultivate the seed of the saint beside the water and a tree. He will practice precepts, meditation, wisdom to put out greed, anger, obsession.
Everyone knows layperson very well. They work in various industries. They have individual parents, relatives, family, children. Participate in social activities, both good and bad, as described in the sutra: It is like planting lotus in a fiery house.
Even it's planted in a pond, it's not easy to emerge from the dirt without being defiled. It's even harder to plant lotus in the fire. When will we achieve that?
But the Buddha is so kind that he has given us the privilege of learning the Pure Land Dharma, and we have a way out of the sea of suffering.
We honor the venerable layman Jihua Li, the first leader of chanting Buddha group in Taipei Lotus Fellow. He is a good friend of Teacher Bingnan Li. Layman Li created the group of buddha chanting also created the group for helping with chanting. He brought forth the resolve for promoting Buddhism, and he was dedicated to being mindful of the Buddha.
The day he was reborn was also the day they practiced together. You see, he could practice like that.
I am usually thinking: We are now speaking of the Lotus Pond Haihui. After speaking, we may go there altogether on the spot, and that would be great.

No need to call for help in chanting from the east and west. So, he could do it. He knew it in advance and told his wife: Old pal, time is up, I am going to be reborn. Are you okay to be alone?
Try to think if you don't build a Buddhist family, I guarantee the karmic hindrance will come.
Usually, on hearing that, the wife will weep, saying: what can I do without you? Leave me alone in bed. Two persons sleeps in the bed after marriage. Someone must go first sooner or later. It's a fact, you must keep an open mind.
Layman Li built a Buddhist family in line with dharma. His old pal is his Bodhi family. On hearing that, his old pal said, Since time is up, you go ahead. We are to be reborn, I will follow you behind. His family hindrance was gone.
On the day he was reborn, it was Sunday they practiced together, chanted buddha together in the morning. Then they had vegetarian lunch, and talk a little dharma in the afternoon.
He came on stage to encourage everyone. We can acquire the human body and hear the Pure Land dharma. We are so lucky that we should work hard. See you in the Land of Bliss. Then he said: I go first. Then, he bowed and stepped off the stage and sat on the chair.
Everybody began to chanting the buddha, again and again. He sat on chair and was reborn. Look, there is a person with such a good ability of chanting buddha in Taiwan.
I saw the picture of the venerable layman Li sitting on the chair after his rebirth.

He was wearing a robe, ironed and pressed. I feel the elder was ready. No need to change shroud. Outstanding. We bless venerable layman Li. Such a classic example has touched so many people. I hope he will come back on his vow as soon as possible to liberate sentient beings.
