Rebirth Example ????My Father Got Reborn – Must be reborn in this life

The next one is my father. Right on the day my mother was reborn, my father was resurrected. After regaining consciousness, he was like a changed man.
I remember when I cooked for him and taught him how to use chopsticks, he said he could hold them. Can you? Yes, I can. Ok, hold them.
I thought to myself, my mom bathed him every several days.
So I bathed him like that too. Halfway through the bath, he said he could do it himself. You don't need to bathe me.
I said: Can you bathe yourself? Ok, bathe yourself. Then he was able to bathe himself.
At that time, we took him to the hospital,
but the doctor said there was nothing he could do, and he didn't know how to treat him, just bring him back. But my mother still asked the doctor to prescribe some drugs no matter what. She never gave up.

After my mother's rebirth, I didn't know how to apply those drugs. I didn't take any drug for my father. The only medication I use is the miracle cure Agada drug. In fact, I didn't know what to cook. Just prepared three meals for him. This is the joy of family ethics. The more he ate, the healthier he became.
After he was conscious, he told a story. During his years of illness,
he always felt as if he were shrouded in dark clouds. The chirping of birds came from the dark clouds.
He regretted his youthful ignorance. In order to guard the orchard and prevent thieves from breaking in and stealing the fruit when it ripens. He set up barbed wire and poisoned dogs. Furthermore, he bought a hunting rifle out of ignorance.

When he got a rifle in hands, thieves dared not break in to steal the fruit. Thereafter, because owning a shotgun, he occasionally shot birds in the air for fun. He received his just deserts for committing this killing sin. On hearing that, I brought him throughout the province
from north to south to chant the Buddha and release living creature from the cross-provincial highway to Ali Mountain, making our precious island full of an auspicious and peaceful atmosphere. May Heaven, with its benevolent virtue, bless this place. Everyone is mindful of the Buddha. May our precious island be filled with pure and solemn sound of Buddha's name.
I read the sutra, and it says: When a large whale opens its mouth
to swallow many people and boats,

one of them urgently chants Namo Buddha. The whale said: "I shouldn't commit the killing sins anymore; some practitioner even knows to chant the Buddha." So it vomits those people out.
So, we wish our island could have such a peaceful atmosphere, and our Buddhist chants could inspire people to practice in peace and be reborn without obstacle in the future.
At that time, my father always accompanied me as we went
around chanting the Buddha and releasing living creatures. The more we chant, the more we are delighted. Later, we both participated in the Taipei Pure Hut Association. Furthermore, I took my father to Taichung to listen to Teacher Li's dharma lecture. Father was pleased too. After that, my dad and I would make the trip back and forth several times a week.

Later, I said that both you and the Teacher are getting older, why don't we take this limited chance to move to Taichung to learn Buddhism conveniently? My father readily agreed.
I feel very lucky. Probably I and my parents have good affinity in the past lives. I am grateful to my parents for their kindness.
They support me to study Buddhism and secular matters successfully in this life. Since then, my father has undergone years of cultivation.
When we haven't moved to Taichung, we must hurry back after listening to the sermon. Once, it was late, he felt tired when we arrived at the train station. Seeing that he was tired, I suggested that we returned to the Lotus Society to rest. How about we went back to Taipei tomorrow?
My father said okay, so we returned to the Lotus Society.

When we returned, the gate of the Lotus Society had closed. We had no choice but to climb the wall. I said sorry to my dad. I made you embarrassed to climb walls at the age of seventy. Father said: It don't matter. My legs cross this wall like this, it is the west. You see, the elder had such a thought.
The next morning, I got up at five o'clock to attend the morning lesson at lotus society then hurry up to catch the 5:30 train. I woke up my father and said: Dad, time is up, we have to get up and back to Taipei.
My father said: Alas, I was sitting on a golden lotus, rocking back and forth, when you woke me up.
I thought that is good and said: Dad, excellent, you work so hard that you've got a lotus now, but it's a small one, you need to keep practicing.
