Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

I wish you all see things more clearly. All matters are created by your heart. Through different wisdom, you will see a completely different world. I will give you an example.
For example, There is a newlywed couple. You talk to the groom, The bride has put on great makeup today and looks beautiful with a white veil. Although she will become an old lady via a long process of decay and people will get tired of looking at her, she is still pretty after makeup on that day,

and referred to as a new bride whatever. When he sees her unveiled, you ask him, What do you see? On the wedding day, the groom is excited and full of anticipation. He says, I saw her, she is the most beautiful bride in the world. The mortal prefers appearance, especially those decorated with makeup. This is the first level.
If you ask those who practice insight observance (Vipassana), observing the defile of the body.
2:00
Does he has the same opinion? What do you see?
He says, I only see defile. The ten outlets all over the body are all unclean. What I see is that the brain marrow is unclean; the blood and urine is unclean; the heart, lung, liver, stomach, large intestine, small intestine, cecum, and rectum are unclean. What I see are all unclean, and nothing else. The groom, who marry a wife, sees a pretty bride. But he sees an unclean body. Look, those who practice insight observance are at a different level.
3:00
If you find someone who has achieved the first-fruit arahant, and ask, What do you see?
He says, I only see a skeleton and nothing else.
Oh, a pretty woman, in the eyes of a first-fruit arahant, is actually a pile of bones.
If you find someone who has achieved the fourth-fruit arahant, and ask, What do you see?
He says, All I see is tiny specks of dust, and I can't see the form of bones. This dust is no different from the dust on the earth, and he sees nothing else. Those who have attained the Arahant fruit can see the ultimate of life, that after cremation, only ashes remain. Oh. A bride turns into specks of dust now. Well.
4:00
If you ask the Bodhisattvas of the Ten Grounds and Bodhisattvas of Equal Enlightenment, What do you see?
They say, I don't see anything, I don't see any form of tiny dust. The body of tiny dust is empty at the moment. The grand bodhisattva has entered the inconceivable state.
The Bodhisattva of Compassion,
When he meditated deeply, saw the emptiness of all five skandhas. Form is only emptiness, Emptiness is only form (Heart Sutra) .
Can you still not realize the hundreds of words that you have recited for decades? All dependently originated matters are like specks of dust. The body of tiny dust is empty at the moment.
5:00
This is the Buddha's original meaning. Form is no other than emptiness, Emptiness no other than form. They are equal ultimately.
At last, if you ask Venerable Sakyamuni Buddha, What do you see?
The Buddha closes his eyes and doesn't reply. Why? Saying existence or emptiness is not right.
It's the topmost state not to talk about matter. All matters are not obtainable, nothing to talk about.
No coming or going; no birth or cease; no increase or decrease. Matters are delusion, which is empty, no self-nature, and unattainable. The Buddha has achieved the topmost and inconceivable state of liberation.
From this example, the groom views the bride as pretty.
6:00
Through the insight observing, she's all defile. The 1st-fruit one views her as bones. Arahants view her as tiny dust. From the view of grand bodhisattvas, even the dust is unattainable. From the Buddha's view, nothing to say, and this is the utmost level. Analyzing layer by layer like this. Those who say that Buddhism is superstitious are superstitious themselves. Because they don't understand the truth.
When I was lecturing Buddhism at the National Taiwan University College of Medicine. I asked, Please raise your hand if you want to be a surgeon in the future. I said, What if someone has a cyst, he can perform surgery. If you have uterine fibroids or a brain tumor, you can have surgery.
7:00
If someone ask you: I am so afflicted today that I can no longer go on living. What surgery can be performed on certain parts of my body? I don't know.
Also, are there pharmacists? Yes. Now I ask you, pharmacists, if someone has been crossed in love. He would die without her, but she doesn't like him, and he secretly has a crush on her and keeps living in extreme pain. He climbs to the 12th floor and tries to jump, but is rescued. When you encounter this case of someone driving themselves into a corner, what remedy would you prescribe?
Everyone, you are studying in Taiwan University, which is the first class.
8:00
Say it, what surgery will you have for affliction in brain? What remedy will you prescribe for obsession in mind? No remedy. Only wait for death, what else can you do? Because you don't know dharma.
