Master Jianyin ???? Woman Drank Pesticide to Suicide, Rescued by the 8-Merit Water 許太太。服農藥自殺

Mrs. Xu once told me a story. At that time, she was not a Buddhist yet. If people don't believe karma, they are prone to commit sins. Back then, her husband had an affair outside. She was so sad that she took pesticide, and drank a whole bottle of pesticide. Normally, people would die if they drank pesticides, so the others rushed her to the hospital for an enema. She spent a week in the hospital in a coma, and was always unconscious.

On the sixth day, she dreamed that she was walking around in a coma. She came to a place where there was a cave. She went in and saw three deity statues. Back then, she didn't know the Three Saints of the West. She hasn't believed in Buddhism yet, but saw them emitting golden light.
There was another elder with very long beard, and he said, You go back. She said, “It's so hard in the world, I don't wanna go back, I want to live in your place.”
He said, “Not just yet, your life is not end, you have to go back as soon as possible.”
She said, No, I wanna live here. Or, If I live here, I can sweep your floors.”

He said, "Our floors don't need cleaning, they are all golden and sparkling, you take a look."
She took a look. Really, the floors were all golden and sparkling.
“ Or, If I live here, I can make tea for you.”
“We don't need to make tea here. You see, there's a fountain coming out of the bottom of the Buddha, and it's sweet and tasty. No need to make tea. Or, you can take a spoonful and taste it.”
Then she took a spoonful and drank it. She told me, "Master, I still savor it. It's so fragrant and sweet. After drinking it, I feel open-minded."
He told her, “You need to go back. It will be the first day of the lunar calendar tomorrow.”
When she woke up, she saw her mother and kids were crying around her.

On seeing she woke up, both her mother and kids laughed. She asked her mother, “Is today the first day of the lunar calendar?”
“Today is the first day of the lunar calendar.” She was amazed that the dream was true. Later, she believed in Buddhism and told me her experience. “Master, you often mentioned the 8 meritorious water. Did I drink the 8 meritorious water?”
I said, "That is the 8-merit water. If you hadn't drunk it, no matter how many enemas the doctor gave you, you would not hold on and would have died. Because you have a fated connection with the Buddha, when you go there, the Buddha manifested you that state and the Eight Meritorious Waters to neutralize the poison for you."
“So that's it.” She was so delighted. Now she is devoutly chanting Amitabha, even her husband is chanting Amitabha too. It turns out that life and death are just a hair's breadth away.
If you still have lifespan, you will recover. Otherwise, Amitabha will bring you to the Bliss World.
