In the last lesson, we talked about dedicating merits the deceased souls. And do worship rituals for the ancestors. Normally, it's also called Buddhist affairs or dharma affairs. I am not against worship rituals, but it needs improvement in many ways. For example, I mentioned to cross the bridge in the last lesson. When doing worship rituals, mostly they say to cross the Bridge of Helplessness. This can be said an unfilial action of the descendants. Because the Bridge of Helplessness is in the hell. I don't say that casually.

In fact, I have seen the Bridge of Helplessness with my own eyes. Back then, the Patriarch (Lu, Chunyang) took me to visit hell. Where does the water of the Bridge of Helplessness come from? From the blood pool. All the blood of the tortured in hell flows into the blood pool. Then it flows out. But I don't know where it flows.
Speaking of the blood pool, nowadays, people say that not to eat red vegetable in the evening. Because the red vegetable is planted beside the blood pool. It's not true. I saw that there was no red vegetable beside the blood pool. So, I eat red vegetable in the evening. If you dare not eat it, you may give that to me. I mean it. That is out of thin air. I saw it with my eyes. There is no red vegetable beside the blood pool.

It is said that women will be immersed in the blood pool after a miscarriage. It's not true. I saw that 9 of 10 people pulled up were men. There were few women immersed inside. You see, a woman's miscarriage is beyond her control. It's very unreasonable that you dragged her into a blood pool. Who are immersed in the blood pool? Mostly, they are spiritual practitioners, about 7 out of 10, including monks, nuns, and Daoist priests. Why? Because they defrauded benefactors of money and failed to complete the jobs. However, it's not all the practitioners are bad, some of them are good.

Right? If you deprive benefactors of money, really, you will go to the blood pool after death. Further, there are the loan sharks. But you have to know that not all loan sharks are bad people. Some loan sharks are good people who provide convenience to others. Those greedy loan sharks, and those who deprive people of wealth and suck their blood are immersed in the blood pool. After I visited the blood pool and came back, I cannot eat in three days. Because the smell still lingers in my nostrils and it turns my stomach. When I ate somethings, I threw up, I didn't have any appetite for 3 days.

My wife asked, why are you so miserable after your trip to hell? The smell is even more stinky than rot fish, that is really indescribable. So, when our elders pass away, we shouldn't lead him to the bridge of helplessness but better lead him to the silver bridge. If you know your elders are not qualified to be a deity, you can at least lead him to the silver bridge but can not lead him to the bridge of helplessness. From this evidence, leading elders to cross the bridge of helplessness is an unfilial action. Doing rituals on the 7th day and Passing Kings are the same. If you do rituals on the 7th day, you should not pass kings. When my wife passed away, I do rituals on the 7th day too. I mainly called the Buddhist groups to recite sutras.
