What do we learn from Buddhism? Learning Buddhism is to learn to be happy. Learn to be carefree, learn to be at ease.
There are some disciples who, after reading this sutra or studying that dharma, start to compete in the ring.
When meeting people, they ask what sutra do you read? What dharma do you practice? If learning the same thing, they start giving lectures. I have been studying this sutra longer, and I will tell you something.
If learning differently, they start turning against people, saying: You shouldn't read that sutra and should read this sutra. This sutra is more terrific. If learning different dharma, they would be even more straightforward.
Then ask which master you learned from. The same one, I'm ok with that. If having different master, instantly, he scans a while. Did your master teach you that? This is the common manner of many people who study Buddhism. If you learn this way, it will be strange that you don't suffer.
This is what the Manjushri Bodhisattva said this medicine could kill people, and kill yourself. You kill your cells of happiness. You kill your bodhicitta and compassion. Taking medicine like this, the more you take, the more problem you have.
There is something wrong with your digestive system. Don't blame the medicine. You have a wrong idea. So the medicine is not for external use. You will know how to prescribe the and comprehend that . All Buddhist teachings are wonderful medicine.
