Fundamental repentance comes from the heart, but how? Let your mind be still and free of any thought. Like I just said. The rationale is easy to understand, but hard to implement. Our hearts are constantly ups and downs. So we need a way to assist and train. How to train? The simplest way is to be mindful of Buddha. In fact, being mindful of Buddha is a dharma of great repentance. Can we repent off these faults by being mindful of Buddha? As long as you always keep Buddha in mind and there is awakening in your heart, those shadows will slowly dissolve in the sound of the Buddha's name.
