Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

Since immeasurable eons, we certainly follow our feelings. When we deal with the feeling of joy, we naturally develop a lot of attachments. Hence, those leave many images in our minds. Then what should you deal with it?
Each of us is craving for this Saha world. In fact, what we really care about is not the external world, but satisfying the images in our minds. When we engage with the external environment and create images, we no longer care about what it is externally. We just pursue the image in our minds to satisfy our delusions. Especially those delusions that you used to enjoy.
This delusion has two parts, that is, the image left behind has two parts:
1:00
First, this delusion can be realized in this life, which is the attachments of this life; there is a delusion that can only be realized in the next life, called the delusion and attachment of the next life.
Let me explain. If you are well off in this life, that is, your good karma in the past life manifests itself in this life. Therefore, you will spend more time in joy and less time in pain in this life. You are healthy, get along well with your family, and you have plenty of wealth. So in this life, you have little painful time and much joyful time. At this time, your delusions are locked in this life, and your attachments for this life are very strong. You are unwilling to leave the Saha world of this life, because the wonderful life now has brought you too many beautiful memories.
2:00
So, when you are about to leave the Saha world, you are reluctant to leave this life. So what are you dealing with? Deal with the craving in this life, because your delusional attachments are the causes and conditions in this life. This is the first type of person, who has great fortune, should pay attention to the involvement in this life.
There is another kind of person whose sins have been manifested in this life, so he has suffered too much in this life, and he has been through afflictions a lot. With physical illness, an unhappy family, and hard work to earn a living entire life. So, he has a miserable life. He was not willing, he had no choice but to give up this life. Then he works hard to volunteer, bow and repent to accumulate merit.
3:00
What did he do? He's pinning all his hopes on the afterlife. He hopes to rely on his good karma in this life to get happy results in the next life to fulfill this wish. When such a person is dying, he will soon leave this life because he is already very tired of this life. It is not difficult for such a person who has been tortured in this life to leave this life. But he is easily induced by his delusions and will be reborn in the Saha world to obtain joyful fruits. What he needs to pay attention to is the attachments in the afterlife.
There are two parts of karmic involvement in the Saha world: first, you may be pulled by karma in this life;
4:00
on the other hand, you may also be pulled by karma in the next life. This is, your karma in the Saha world has not been dealt with when you pursue being born in the Pure Land.
If you cannot get out of the delusions in your heart, you will not be able to welcome the light of Amitabha. In other words, you must let the karma of life and death remain in a state of precipitation. You don’t necessarily have to cut off karma, but at least it is a state of subduing and settling. So we have to deal with the attachment in this life and in the next life.
Let’s see how to deal with attachment in this life. First we look at impermanence. If you belong to the type of good fortune and happiness, and your karma in this life has given you too much joy, you should think about the principle of impermanence.
5:00
That is to say, your happiness in this life is actually at fault and you have to pay a price. All happiness in the Saha world is faulty. What faults have you made in pursuing happiness in this life?
The Master Wiser said that you have three faults: first, you suffer when you pursue desires; second, you are worried when you get them; third, you are frustrated when you lose them. So the conclusion is "There is no joy at any moment." In other words, recall your happiness in this life: First, you have to pursue happiness, and when you pursue it, you have to put in a lot of hard work and fatigue; Second, after you get it, through your efforts when you were young, your happiness appear after you are middle-aged. The ideal of youth appears, can you sit back and relax?
