Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

When I was in the restroom, a little pal was holding my hand before he left. Master, you have to all tell story today. Originally, I didn't plan to tell stories, but about love and family. I even distributed handouts. But everything is impermanent. All right, I will all tell stories. But, you shouldn't just listen. Don't be a monopoly on truth. When it comes to you, traffic is backed up. Just like when I was in Christianity. Back then, I was very enthusiastic. On a hot day at Taipei Main Station, I was holding 4 microphones, "God loves you", "I've found". I was standing there, “Hurry to accept God's love”. After I believed in Buddhism, my pals in the church kept looking for me.
1:00
Oh! How could you betray God? No, I need God's love even more, I said. I wish God can give me blessings. I want to fulfill God’s love for people. The Buddha was incarnated in the world at the request of God, and he attained Buddhahood. So I didn't betray him. You say so because you don't know God, I said. I suggest you learn this spirit and use your mouth. I used to speak in a low voice. People like me walks off the stage, I'm like a worm, without voice. This is what I am. But when I walk on stage, I will speak aloud. So I often release frogs so that I speak aloud. Because the Buddha said, you have to roar like a lion.
2:00
So that you can promote truth and love with a confident and energetic tone. You need to learn this skill. I used to practice this when in the army. Must yell loudly till your throat is broken. I was thinking that man is crazy. Fortunately, I didn't do that. Now I regret I didn't practice well at that time. If I have practiced well, I don't need to hold a microphone. No matter how far away, you can hear the Buddha's voice, just like the Buddha speaking in your ear. Moreover, once you hear the Buddha’s voice, you will never forget and you will be easily liberated. You should practice a meritorious voice like this. So, to practice a meritorious voice, from now, do not scold. Do not spread the unpleasant, stressful, and filthy words to others through your mouth.
3:00
No matter how wrong others have done, do not speak. Give them a chance, said the Buddha too. Practice mouth with compassion. Express with your compassion. You'll have a voice feature as the Buddha life after life. So with your mouth, you should praise the Three Jewels, chant Amitabha, sing The Incense Chant, Join practice together. In the future, you will have a good voice.
Speaking of mouth, by the way, I will tell a story about a tiger king. He took the tiger cub out to look for food. As a result, he saw a monk very noble and compassionate, sitting under the shade of a tree. Originally, the tiger want to eat that monk, but the monk looked very merciful. When the tiger gazed at him, the monk looked at him with compassion.
4:00
Even the tiger was touched by this monk. When the tiger came back, he told the other tigers: From now, you are disallowed to eat monks. Have to protect him. Everything else is fine. One day, the tiger king actually eat a monk, leaving a mouth on the ground. So all the tigers protested: Your Majesty, didn't you say you won't eat monks? The tiger king said: It's weird, I saw the monk walking by and went to smell him. I didn't smell anything about Buddhism except his mouth. What does it mean? Not only you should chant Buddha in your mouth, but also you have to be mindful of the Buddha. Dedicate to chanting the Buddha to relieve the suffering of all sentient beings and stay away from obsession. This is called being truthfully mindful of the Buddha. Or you will be eaten with a mouth remained. This is called Chán in the mouth.
5:00
There is another story about a Buddha chanting session. A mother brings a child there. Then, the child is missing. When the mother is halfway through chanting, Oh, where is my child? Of course, her son is greater than the Buddha, she gets up immediately and looks everywhere. Where is my son? She saw an old monk under a tree chanting Amitabha. In order to look for her son, the woman didn't pay attention. Pat! She kicked the monk and ran over him, kept looking forward. The monk was upset and stood up. The woman finally found her child, and they returned hand in hand with joy. The monk has been standing under the tree, put his hand on his hip and asked: Why did you kick me and not stop or say sorry? I was so single-minded looking for my son that I didn't notice your existence, said the woman. Monk, are you not single-minded chanting Buddha?
6:00
How do you know I kicked you? A person who is single-minded and mindful of the Buddha is not ignorant of everything, he just ignores the distractions which is trivial ting. You call me names, spit in my face, just wipe it off. Like my son spit in my face. Because we have discrimination.
