Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

Furthermore, I will tell you a story about a previous life of the Buddha. Once, Sakyamuni Buddha was a poor farmer. One day, he went into the forest to chop firewood. Suddenly, a tiger appeared. It was very hungry and wanted to eat the farmer. Normally, people will run away. However, the farmer felt pitiful to the tiger when he saw it was so skinny. Uh, you're so hungry, and I'll let you eat. But I'm not sure if you will feel full only to eat me. When the tiger pounced on him and started eating him, the farmer vowed, after I'm eaten by you in this life, I will be reborn as a bigger animal in my next life to feed the hungry animals of the forest. Thus, the Buddha reincarnated like this a thousand times, being animals to be eaten. If you want to become a Buddha, you must be so compassionate. Don't piss off just because of being lectured or scolded.

It hasn't cut your meat off yet. Buddha also gave his eyes like this many times. When we learn Buddhism, we have to be mindful of Buddha's virtue and learn from him. How did the Buddha sacrifice in his past lives? Buddha has been a handsome prince in his past life. His body naturally emitted fragrance. Hence, people all over the country called him the Flower Prince. Wherever he went, everyone liked him. Once, a patient was lying on the roadside. Flower Prince went to him and asked: Why are you sick so serious? Why don't you see a doctor? I am hopeless, said the patient. Doctors say I need humans marrow so that I can be saved. Who will give me? I can give you, said the Prince. The servant came and said: No kidding, Prince. The prince ordered his servants to dig out his marrow.
2:00
It's difficult to dig, and no one dared. Prince took the knife and dug himself slowly. Pierced the bone, and marrow flowed out, and healed the patient. Then he became disabled in his life. This is learning Buddhism. Forbearance. Bear to the extreme. If you still have ego, you will suffer forever. Never think that I am bullied. Especially, you are on the way of Bodhisattva; you want to free animals; you want to help chant Buddha; you want to be a vegetarian; you want to leave home. Many people will reprimand you, saying you are insane.
Just like I was a travel agent before, every time when a member of a tour group said: I want to eat vegetarian food, I would say impatiently: Can you ask the Bodhisattva for a leave? It's tough. Where can I find vegetarian food for you in Japan? I used to be like that. I felt this person doesn't behave, really.
3:00
Later, I became a vegetarian myself. Oh, I realized I made a big mouth karma. I am ashamed. So, you have to forgive other's mistake. Forgiveness is love. Even you could make mistake by yourself. Also, you must be more compassionate toward those who make more mistakes. Because he has created so much bad karma, he will suffer a lot, but he does not mean it. Does anybody want to look for trouble? None want to look for trouble on purpose. It's because he doesn't understand karma or the Dharma that he behaves like this. So you must always be compassionate. Compassion is the only equipment. Forbearance is our only power. You should bear it more. Especially for those who want to be pretty. When others insult you, your blessing come. The more they insult, the prettier you will be. People who practice forbearance will look dignified. If you don't look at rude things, you will have a pair of beautiful eyes. If you don't scold, you have pretty mouth and can express your opinions.
4:00
Woman shouldn't scold randomly. So Buddha said: People who practice forbearance will achieve subtle characteristics. Guys, don’t look randomly with your eyes so that you'll have dignified eyes. So, Master Huilu said: When men die, his eyes rot first. When women die, her mouth rot first. Because she couldn't bear it without scolding. Talking a while makes her feel better.
I used to be married. My wife quarreled with me, her words were so unpleasant. Later, she received a phone call and happily chatted with the other side. Then she hung up the phone and continued to scold me. You are terrific, I said, If you practice like that, being happy a while and angry a while, I cannot be that. So, if you can restrain yourself, you can grasp your life. Can you bear 10 things from now on? Raise your hand if you can. Put it down. Must remember.
5:00
Now you said you can. Later, somethings will come after you're back. You have to say that's blessing. Why? Practicing is to hope that the past karmic hindrance come faster. When you vow to practice, it comes.
There is a story. One man went out and got injured. His friend saved him, and he engraved this incident of his friend saving him on a rock to remember it forever. Later, while he was out, another of his friends hurt him and took his money. He was so angry that he wrote this incident of his friend robbing him on the beach.
