There is a question. He said that sometimes I have great faith in being mindful of the Buddha, but sometimes I have no faith and often have doubts. A friend told me to listen to sermons more often, but usually I can't settle down to listen to sermons. I don’t know what to do?
If you ask for my opinion, I can teach you a method, which is to worship Buddha. So in Tantric Sect, before you learn Buddhism, the master’s prerequisite for you is to worship Buddha 100 thousand times, then start.

After worship 100,000 times , your karmic hindrances are eliminated, it is really effective. Although we have not studied Tantra, when I first came into contact with Buddhism, my teacher taught me to worship Buddha 800 times every day.
It seems that after five and a half months of worship, it should be more than 100 thousand. This is an exoteric teaching, not a secret teaching.
After 100 thousand bows, indeed my heart was settled and my faith was raised.

If you have no faith and are impatient, you will not be able to achieve anything you learn. Not to mention dharma, you can't even achieve worldly matters, so you have to worship Buddha respectfully. It is not difficult to worship a thousand times a day. One thousand worships, about two hours in the morning, 300 worships, 200 worships in the afternoon, and 500 worships in the evening when the time is longer; Or, 400 worships in the morning, 200 worships in the afternoon, 400 worships in the evening.

Starting from this place, you must first eliminate your karmic hindrances, and then you can enter into Buddhism. The most important thing when getting started is to listen to the sermons. If you don’t have a theoretical basis for what you learn, you will get bored, slack off, and retreat over time. The deeper you understand it, the stronger your faith will be, and you will be more joyful. When joy is raised, that is what the Analects of Confucius says, "Learn and practice from time to time, it's so joyful." Be filled with the joy of the Dharma. The more you learn, the happier you will be. You will not be tired or bored. Only in this way can you achieve success. This is all because the deeper the understanding, the more effective it will be.

If you don’t understand the sutra or teachings, you will indeed have many doubts after a long time. Therefore, the sutra and sermon cannot be ignored. Sakyamuni Buddha has been preaching for 49 years, which makes sense. If you do not have a thorough understanding of the universe and life, how can you be joyful? And you cannot solve the
difficult problems you encounter. If wisdom is present and you are always joyful, you will be able to solve any problem naturally. Therefore, listening to the sermons and being studious is the root of our practice.
