Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

If one brings forth the resolve for bodhicitta, where will he be reborn? go to the majestic land of true reward. If he didn't go to the Bliss World by chanting Buddha, he will go to the Flower Treasure World, the majestic land of true reward by Vairocana Buddha. They usually go there.
The teacher over there is Vairocana Tathagata. The two assistants who helped the Tathagata are Manjusri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. It is Avalokitesvara and Mahāsthāmaprāpta who help Amitabha Buddha in the Bliss World (Sukhavati).
It is clear that developing bodhicitta is very important. It's not easy to develop bodhicitta. Why? Not for yourself, only for others. If you have developed bodhicitta, no matter how hard or tired you are, you will not feel it. Why? You did not think of yourself. Only thinking of myself makes me tired.
If you didn't think of yourself, you worked 24 hours. Who did it? No one is doing it, so you don't get tired. This is controlling things with the mind. You have 'me' in your mind. I'm hungry, I'm tired. Without me, who is hungry and who is tired? Nobody.

In Mahayana Buddhism, the first thing we are taught is to let go of the view of the body, not to cling to the body as me. What is this body? The body is a tool, like a car. What am I? I am the person who is steering the car. I am not this car, the car is not me. But I have a relationship with the car, I want to use it, but it is not me.
If you have this idea, even work longer hours, you will not feel hard, will not be tired, and the more you do it, the more energetic you are, full of vim and vigor, which means that the power of the mind is incredible. So bodhicitta cannot be forgotten or lost. Why do you forget? For those who have already developed bodhicitta, they forgot, which is not true development.
If you lose it, it's because you didn't truthfully develop bodhicitta.

If you haven't developed, you have to developed. After developing, you shouldn't forget. If you practice good deeds, those are all merits. If you do not have bodhicitta and practice all good deeds, there are many differences in rewards. Because people have different thoughts, some for fame, some for profit.
If you do that for fame and profit, it depends on your heart. Some people use righteous means to seek fame and profit. If you use unjustified means, you will be rewarded in the bad paths and the difference is huge. There is a law of cause and effect inside.
