This fellow practitioner asked a good question. He said, You often mention: No delusion, no discrimination, no attachment. The Diamond Sutra says: The past mind is no longer available. The present mind is not available. The future mind is not available.. Don't we need to think or plan everything, whether it is in the secular or trans-secular world? How can we get the job done if we don't plan thoroughly?
You'd better do it with discrimination and attachments. The meaning of no delusion, no discrimination, no attachment is profound. The level of the realm described in the Diamond Sutra is too high, which is the realm for bodhisattva's dharma body, and it's not for our realm. We should know it is impossible for us to achieve that. If you really understand the meaning of the "3 minds are not available" in the Diamond Sutra, you won't have this question, and you won't ask me. But you ask me, it seems for the "3 minds are not available,” you just heard it and are still confused about it, and you can not achieve either. Staying away from delusion, discrimination, and attachment is to purify your mind.
When you're working, do you need a plan? Yes, you need a plan.

When we work, we carefully make a plan and work hard to get it done. When it's finished, our hearts remain pure and undefiled. This is where we should start. When the work is complete, you can not let it go and keep thinking about it day and night. Then you are afflicted very much. You can not take a rest, and you can't unfold wisdom.
Delusion, discrimination, and attachment hinder your wisdom. When we don't use them, release them as soon as possible. Don't let it continue, that is right.
When you really have achievement, I tell you.
When Sakyamuni Buddha was living, the kings, ministers, elders, and laymen invited him for sermon. Did the Buddha need to prepare in advance? Did he need to think about what to speak? No. He really wasn't prepared at all. When the Buddha was preaching, as we saw in the sutras, he was questioned at random, and he answered on the spot. How did he need to prepare? He had already entered the highest realm. We haven't reached that realm yet, so we have to be fully prepared and need a plan to do something. Buddha did everything without planning and without strategy. Everything he does is more perfect than anyone else.

We have plans and strategies but make mistakes occasionally and the work is not done perfectly. So they dwell in true wisdom. That is the reason.
