Wrath of the Vajra Guru, also known as Dorje Gotrap, is a powerful protector deity of Buddhism.
He is of particular importance in the Nyingma tradition and he is considered to be the destroyer of all infectious diseases and plagues. In the central deity is depicted riding a 9-headed buffalo surrounded by fire with Garuda and Vajrapani on top.
His powerful powerful healing mantra is also known as the Vajra Armor mantra that has the ultimate goal of achieving the rainbow body.
The Vajra Armor Mantra was first appeared in Tibet by Guru Padmasambhava (Padmasambhava). He learned many teachings and practices on this mantra from ancient Indian Buddhism.
