If he says this word to you, you should be aware of it and get prepared. Since we are Buddhists, we can persuade him to recite the Buddha's name.
The ordinary people don't know about Buddhism and think he has mental issue. But this is not a common mental issue. He sees the deceased appear before his eyes. It's not that bad because they are people showing in his life though they are dead.

When a person dies, there are respective people coming to receive him. What does it mean? Based on one's karma, one will see different scenes accordingly. A person with excellent karma, before ascending to heaven, will see celestial or fairy singing and dancing who come to welcome him. Celestial come to receive him. What if one falls in evil paths? Just as I said, there will appear scenes of evil paths.

Hell or men with bullheads might appear. This is the scene before the end of life. From the physiological view, symptom become obvious. The Big Four separate. What does The Big Four separate mean? Our bodies, which are composed of four basic elements, slowly begin to disintegrate and stop functioning. Earth, water, fire, wind. Earth is bone, which construct the hardest part. Water is liquids, such as blood and saliva, that make up the fluid part of the body. How about fire? Body temperature.
4:00
How about wind? Air, breath. The Big Four are starting to wear off. Breathing becomes more difficult. How is the body temperature? It goes up and down. Then the blood slowly stopped flowing. The heart supplies blood insufficiently. Earth is our tendon and bones. They become stiff and disobedient. Combining these scenarios, the manifestation in a dying person is trying to see, but he can't open his eyes. Even if he barely opened it, he couldn't see it clearly. Uh, Who is this? He doesn't recognize the people who are usually around him.
5:00
His ears want to hear, but they can't hear clearly. He can't fetch what he wants. These scenes are all real. Look at the people who are seriously ill and on the verge of dying. Are they like that? The Big Four are parting away. It's too painful to say it. I don't say it casually. The pain is like peeling a layer of skin. So, why do you learn Buddhism and chant the Buddha? When people face it. This is unbelievable and unimaginable. These are physical and mental pains that are unbearable for ordinary people.

After ordinary people die, their bodies immediately become stiff. Many people say that people will become stiff after death. A good practitioner's body will remain soft long after death. Even his physical body can be preserved for years, decades, hundreds or even 1000 year without any protection. Many think, How does that make sense? Because this body is just a carrier for him. We don't think so, but think I'm this body, and I am dead. Hence, you're scared.

But if you don't chant the Buddha, you are prone to fear. You are baffled what to be mindful if you are not mindful of Buddha. Then you will be mindful of fear. So, you'd better to chant the Buddha. If you have already recited the Buddha, there is no need to be afraid. No matter when or what condition you are in, don't be afraid. You need to bring up the Buddha that you are used to chant. You must have great faith.
8:00
All the fellow practitioners who chant the Buddha must keep in mind, at this moment, you can only rely on Amitabha. How to rely on? We can rely on Amitabha, with faith and volition. Amitabha has a vow to receive those who are dying. We need to deeply believe that and have faith. Don't be scared at all. This is crucial. Must pay attention. What if scared? Hurry up to chant the Buddha. Cut off the thought of fear. What if I'm always scared? If you are always scared, you cannot be reborn. You have to get this right. What's the reason? Because your heart is not in line with the Buddha.
