Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

We were originally pure, at ease, and equal, but now we have become impure, uneasy, and unequal. What went wrong? It has a key problem, which is our "delusion". Let me explain this delusion and what it is. Delusion comes from senses. When our clear mind comes into contact with the external environment, we first have senses.
People with great blessings have good karma in their past lives. As a result of their good karma, they feel mostly happy. They have more happiness and less pain in their lives. People with less blessings have more suffering and less happiness in their lives.
But these senses are not a problem, because senses have no form.
1:00
But the next moment of sense will drive his imagination, and he will fabricate many images from this place.
For example, let’s say drinking coffee. You see, the time we actually drink coffee is only the first second when your tongue comes into contact with the coffee and you feel the flavor of the coffee. If this coffee is in line with your habit and suits your body, you will feel happy. Then what? What will you do? You will praise it, and your heart will begin to speak: This coffee is delicious. Where did you buy it? Where is it produced? From that moment on, you are not really drinking coffee, and from the next second on, you are completely living in your delusion. Therefore, we are in contact with the external world for only a moment, and we live in our delusion for 80 - 90 % of the time.
2:00
We actually don’t really care what is happening in the outside world; we would rather believe in our own delusions. When delusion begins to take effect, you become attached and reside in delusion. Therefore, it is said in the Consciousness-Only School (Yogacara), only the mind manifests and only consciousness resides. The trouble is that you reside in your delusion. This is the blind spot, so you are misled by your own delusions. This is why we make life so complicated, this is the reason!
In fact, to be honest, problems caused by karma are minor. Buddha said that the first arrow that hits us is reasonable. Only a small part of our suffering comes from karma.
3:00
Most of it is your own delusion that inflates the suffering. The reason why you are hit by the second arrow, the third arrow, the fourth arrow, the fifth arrow... is entirely because your own delusions have magnified them. You shouldn't always blame you have grave karma. In fact, your mental quality plays a very important role.
Frankly, if you study Consciousness-Only School, you will know how much stimulus really comes from karma. If you have no food to eat, you feel hungry. Right? If you have no clothes to wear, you feel cold. But, how many people today are truly suffering because of karma? Few. The problems now are all psychological problems, they are just delusions. There was a mother living with her daughter.
4:00
One day, the daughter received her salary and wanted to reward herself for her hard work this month. She went to the mall and bought the hat of her dreams. She put the hat on her head, and the more she looked, the more she liked, so she bought it.
Of course, her first thought to buy the hat was based on senses, and then she started to have delusions. When she got back she wanted to share it with her mother, saying that her hat was very beautiful.
But her mother was cooking, and it was almost dinner time, so dinner was not ready yet. She wore the hat and waggled around before her mother, but her mother didn't notice it. She put the hat on the fridge, and when her mother went to open the fridge, she didn't see the hat either. Later, during the meal, the daughter stopped talking.
5:00
Mom said, “You seem to be in a bad mood today?”
She said, "Yes, I bought a hat and ran to you to show it, but you didn't see it. I put it on the fridge, and you didn't see it either." She feels wronged!
But her mother felt more wronged than she did, and said, “You talked about your hat, but did you see that I had my hair done today? My hair was newly done, but you didn’t notice it and you didn’t praise me.”
Each of us lives in our own delusion, which is fabricated by you. This is why life becomes unsolvable. If life was simply about paying off debts, only karma, then it would be very simple. But your karma is combined with delusion. Because when karma stimulates you, it is only in the present moment, and the rest is all your delusion. To be honest, if you can't get out of your delusion, you life is unsolvable.
6:00
When at the end of life, it is still unsolvable. Even Amitabha can't save you. The scriptures make it very clear that “all the sea of karmic obstacles arises from delusion.”
Let us now redefine what it means to have grave karmic obstacle? The more delusion you have, the graver karmic obstacles you will have.
