There is a layman - Xue, Songmao living in Donan, he support me a lot. He likes to listen to my tape, and has learned Buddhism for a long time. He didn't know me before listening to my tape, then he approached me with joy. He invited many of my tapes home. He listened so repeatedly that he was able to memorize it and share the revelation with others. He spoke just like me, very loudly, and he is older than me.
Once I called him. “Layman Xue, I will go to your place, Donan, to chant Amitabha. Are you available?”

So I read the address to him.
“Good, it's next to our village.” So he went to help the chanting. After chanting a while, he shared some inspiring stories with me. Because when his mother died, it was me who helped the chanting for her. His mother just died recently, last year or this year, and I also went to help the chanting for a long time. His mother was in a very old age, 97. He said that his mother was not ill at all when she died, only aging and weak a little.

She followed them, chanting Amitabha Buddha for two hours until her last breath. They called the whole family back, her grandchildren gathered around her, and chanted Amitabha altogether for two hours, then she breathed the last. It's extraordinary that his mother has chanted the Amitabha Buddha for decades.

The brother and sister chanted and prayed for their mother around the clock. At the time they had done 24-hour chanting, “How about we chant one more hour?” “Ok, one more hour.” So, they chanted one more hour. That's extraordinary.
The mother had chanted with them for two hours before she died. Then they helped chant for another 25 hours till her body became supple, with a smile on her face.
Her granddaughter thought grandma pampered me so much. When offering incenses, she prayed to Amitabha to convey a message to her grandma. “Grandma, you pampered me so much, now you pass away, you have to let me know where you go. You must let me see if you have been reborn in the Bliss World.

Afterwards, she really came back from the Bliss World twice, sitting on a lotus, her body was glittering with golden light, allowing her granddaughter to witness it with her own eyes. The other two granddaughters followed suit and also prayed to see their grandma. As a result, she returned to see them once.
A 90-year-old woman lived next door. Xue's mother was 97. The woman I helped chant with was 94 years old. When I went to help with chanting, the couple came earlier than I because they live in the nearby village, while I came from the distant Yuanlin.

My sister has great fortune after give alms like that. She said she would give you offering from time to time. Is she financially capable of affording it? She said, I earned a lot of money. Sometimes, he went to her and talked about Buddhism, and taught her to chant Amitabha.
