云想衣裳花想容，春风拂槛露华浓。
若非群玉山头见，会向瑶台 月下逢。

一枝红艳露凝香，云雨巫山枉断肠。
借问汉宫谁得似，可怜飞燕倚新妆。

名花倾国两相欢，长得君王带笑看。
解识春风无限恨，沉香亭北倚栏杆。

Her robe is made of cloud; her face of flowers made,
Caressed by vernal breeze, freshened by morning dew,
Charming as Fairy Queen in her Mountain of jade
Or Godness of the Moon in her palace sky-blue.

A branch of peony with her fragrance impearled,
Sweeter than Mountain Goddness bringing showers in dreams,
Unrivaled by the beauties of the ancient world,
Not even by Flying Swallow in her dress that gleams.

The beauty gazes at the flower she admires,
Winning the monarch’s smiling gaze from hour to hour;
Gratifying Spring Wind’s insatiable desires,
She leans on balustrade north of the Fragrant Bower.

看到了云，就想起了她（杨贵妃）的衣裳，
看到了花，就想起了她的容貌。
当春风吹拂着栏杆，带着露珠的牡丹花，娇艳欲滴。
如此美貌，如果不是在仙境群玉山见过，
那一定是在月下的瑶台上才能遇到。


一支红艳的花儿，沾湿了露水，仿佛香气凝结在上面。
楚襄王梦见巫山的神女和他欢合的传说，
毕竟只是个虚妄的梦境，徒然使人伤感。
梦中神女哪比得上眼前的国色天香？
而汉宫里，又有谁能够和她相像呢？
只有可爱的绝代佳人赵飞燕，当她刚化好妆时，
勉强可以跟她一比吧！

她像一朵名花，有倾国的美貌并且和君王两相欢爱，
因此能经常得到君王含笑地观赏。
君王心中的烦恼，只要和贵妃一起来到这沉香亭畔的牡丹园，
也会消失得无影无踪。
