When You Realize this Idea, Reincarnation will be Cut off Immediately 你悟到這一念,輪迴立刻就斷除
(English subtitles) Master Hui Lu 慧律法師, born in 1953, talks dharma.
Subtitles:
Reincarnation or not is just a thought. You must be mindful of my words. Do you want to practice? Anytime, anywhere, you must have a thought, the current body is empty, and you cut off the reincarnation instantly. When one is enlightened, it is only in a moment. When one is lost, he goes through a long time. That is true. Practicing is to wait for a causal condition.
But if you are devoted and know to deal with the thoughts of the moment. So, dealing with it is to let go, without a heart, do not handle it. Do not initiate it, then you don't need to cut it off. Otherwise, you then: I hate you and cut it off; I am jealous of you, and I cease it. I'm greedy, and I terminate it. I'm angry, I will get rid of it. These are the redundant forms of reincarnation. When you have an idea to crave something, the current body is empty. You let it go, and it's ok. Right?
When you're going to be jealous of him, it's better to praise him with joy. Just change your mind and nothing will happen. How easy are you at? It is better than a person practicing desperately in front of Buddha. In the end, he remained obsessed. That is much more effective, honestly. If we don't discriminate things, the way will appears. If a person practices very hard in front of the Buddha, but his inner affliction continues.
When you have no delusion at the moment, that is Bodhicitta. When you have no distracted thought at the moment, it is a moment of awakening. You don't have to bow down in front of the Buddha until your head is broken and bleeding. Of course, with abilities, you may say so. Without abilities, you would better practice truthfully. Or else?

If you are unable to overcome, what can you do? The way without method is to be mindful of the Buddha and Buddha's teachings. Do you want to see the Buddha? The Buddha is formless, how can you see him? Someone asks: Master, can I see the Buddha? I said: No, how can you see the Buddha? Only if you stay away from forms, you can see Buddha. Otherwise, how can you see Buddha? I ask you. You cannot see Buddha when seeing various forms. On what basis do you see the Buddha? Master, I cannot see the Buddha even if I'm mindful of him. What can I do? How can I see Buddha? Formless.
On the contrary, I reply to people who have just learned Buddhism: Master, can a person chanting Buddha see the Buddha? Master, can a person chanting Buddha see the Buddha? Sure, you can. He just learned Buddhism, you certainly can say yes. So, reincarnation or not depends on one thought. Being free from the world also relies on one thought. People who know how to practice save time and work, and are happy. Alas, that is too easy. Those who don't know how to practice are in a hurry and clueless.
