Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

How to learn the Way? Just ask yourself. Worldly people always ask where I will go after death. Only ask yourself. Though the ten dharma realms we said from hell to buddha.
From the Confucian perspective, it can be divided into only a few steps. You quietly ponder what situation you are now and should know where you are going in the future.
Ordinary people constrain others to benefit themselves. How is that? For the sake of my benefit, I don't care others.
1:00
No matter what profession you are in, including intellectuals, agriculture, industry, business. As for the officials, if it is beneficial to me, I will embezzle and impose more taxes on the people, regardless of the living of the people. This is constraining others to benefit yourself.
As for the merchants, they do immoral business, produce fake products, offer unhealthy foods. As long as it's profitable, I don't care providing people inferior products. These are constraining others to benefit yourself. As for the farmers, they overspray pesticides. As long as I am safe, I'm not worried about you getting poisoned. As for the construction workers, they built their houses on slopes,
2:00
and did not waterproof them properly. When the lands slide, all the houses collapse. As long as I can make money, I don't care about other people's lives. Those who constrain others to benefit themselves definitely will go to the 3 evil paths. You can take your time and think about whether or not you are doing these things. There are the paths of ghosts, animals, and hell.
What's the next? Benefit myself and benefit people. I want to make money, and I work with my conscience.
3:00
I will not hurt others for profit. I want to make money, but I also benefit sentient beings. If I make more money, I will donate some to do benevolence. If you do a little good, you can be reborn as a human being. If you do more good, you will become a deity. If you benefit yourself and benefit people, you will go to the 3 good paths (humans, asura, celestial).
The next one is to benefit people and benefit myself. Benefiting myself and benefiting people is different from benefiting people and benefiting myself. What is Benefiting myself and benefiting people? First, I think about making money,
4:00
then I do business with conscience. But still, consider me making money first. If I have surplus money, I will do good. This is going to the 3 good paths.
To benefit people and benefit myself is different. Whatever I am doing, I think of benefiting others first, how much money I make doesn't matter. Supposed I can't make ends meet, I will grit my teeth. This can be said to benefit people and benefit myself. Thus, you are qualified to take the path of Śrāvakas (Four fruition of Arahant).
Further, that is to constrain myself and benefit people.
5:00
I don't think of profit. As long as it benefits others, I don't mind taking a loss. If you come up with this mindset, I would rather others benefit than make money myself. Even though I know I will take a loss, as long as it benefits others, I will do it. If so, you are qualified to become a bodhisattva.
From the prospective of the Way, what is constraining people to benefit myself? That is trying your best to take money out of people's pocket. Some priests say, You have bad luck and should offer more.
6:00
But I don't have money.
Go borrow it, or you will have calamity.
As long as I take a profit, I don't care people's hardship.
These people definitely will go to the 3 evil paths.
What is benefiting myself and benefiting people? I consider my own interests first, but I will not lure you to demise, and I will benefit beings by the way. When my temple have profit, I will do benevolence and charity more or less. Then he will go to the 3 good paths.
How about benefiting people and benefiting myself? That is to benefit people first. If I am an abbot of a temple, I don't mind if you offer me candles or incense, because I aim to liberate beings anyway.
7:00
If I go out to chant sutra, I don't care how much money you offer me. Benefiting others is always the first priority. If you offer more, I earn more. If you offer less, I earn less. If no one offers to me, I’ll tighten my belly. Then you are qualified to be free from reincarnation, and you are Śrāvakas. What about constraining myself and benefiting people? Totally neglect money, no fame, no profit. I don't care profit at all. This is constraining myself and benefiting people. Then you are able to go to the bodhisattva path.
To reach the state of Buddhahood, you should give up yourself and benefit beings.
