Take the mother-in-law of layman Wei, who is sitting here, for example. She is named Wuli, Jingmei, and was reborn at the age of 82. His mother-in-law is a veteran lay Buddhist. When she was in her 40s, her husband died, and she began to chant Amitabha due to a causal occasion. Till now in her 80s, she has been chanting Amitabha for 4 decades.

It's said this woman is very dedicated to chanting the Buddha. She sincerely chants Amitabha and isn't fond of talking. If someone talks to her a lot, she would say, Don't talk with me, I can not make it in time. She is chanting Amitabha desperately so that she chanted tens of thousands of Buddha's name per day.
So, when she was reborn, she appeared auspicious sign. Here I cannot describe it in detail. I went there to reveal dharma and chant the Buddha for her. Her son was running a seafood store, and the fish was very stinky.
2:00
Even when I go to the fish market, I've never smelled anything so fishy. The fish sold in the market is more fresh. The fish and squid he sells are not fresh. The dead fish is stinky. I never smell that kind of fishy stench. Besides, I have been vegetarian so long. I felt like throwing up, but I held it in. If I really threw up, the others in the group would have probably thrown up with me. So I ducked to one side. They placed the seafood and squid at the back. We were chanting in the front room. I remember it was winter. Not sure if the back door hadn't been closed properly, strong gusts rushed in from behind. Their house faces west from the east.
3:00
The wind blows from the northeast in winter, coming from the back door. The smell was so bad that made me sick. Thus, we kept chanting and chanting until the stench vanished and became sandalwood. It was inconceivable. When the coffin was carried out, the people next door saw that the bottom of the coffin was covered with a row of white lotus flowers. They said, Where did you invite those beautiful lotus flowers?
We said, We didn't, where are they?
They said, There are a row of lotus flowers under the coffin.
4:00
Neighbors saw a row of lotus flowers under the coffin. This woman used to practice very hard. Every time she kept chanting four hours or so before taking a break. After resting for twenty minutes, she continued to chant desperately. So, when she was moved for funeral, the seafood smell became sandalwood, and people saw many lotus flowers.
After cremation, there transformed a large lotus at the forehead, and a small one at the side.
5:00
There were many relics all over her body, gold and silver. There were gold relics and also silver relics. I asked layperson Wei to bring it over for us to see. He grabbed a handful, including gold and silver. I held them to take a look. Eh, it was heavy, big, and shiny. I said, Is it your mother-in-law's tooth? Otherwise, how can it be so big?
He said, We have taken her teeth out after she died, and they are at home now. So, that is not a tooth but a real relic. It is said that there are many of them, these are fallen. I said, You should show us this lotus on the forehead. He said, I didn't go with them. Her son thought that those staying with her is hers, those fallen are ours.
6:00
So, he didn't bring them all. It's a pity that they didn't keep those relics with her. I'm thinking that I want to communicate with her son via layman Wei. I heard that her ash is in the earth store temple in Puli, discussing to take out all her lotus and relics. These can inspire many sentient beings. So, if you practice very well, after cremation, you may also have relics of gold, silver, and lotus. That is extraordinary and excellent.
