Master Jianyin - The Dead in a car accident Chanted Amitabha Buddha 掃墓車禍。亡者念佛眾人皆聞

I have helped many people with chanting Amitabha Buddha. Recently, a person was hit by a car and died. Their grandpa died, and they cremated his remain, and sent his ash to the Ten Thousand Buddhas Temple in Taichung.
Once on tomb-sweeping day. We need to sweep tombs on that day. His ash was delivered into the temple. So the whole family members make an appointment to go to the temple to sweep tomb for their grandpa. Just when they were turning into the temple. Their car collided with a truck carrying sand and rocks. This car was hit badly. Two young brothers and on sister sat in this car. Those young brothers were both studying in the medical universities. All 3 were seriously injured in the collision. Their parents sat in the latter car and later saw the accident.
After the accident, the three were sent to different hospitals. The girl was sent to the clear hospital in Taichung. That was terrible for the mother and the father. So they had to go here and there. All the three children were seriously injured. Later, the girl died and the two boys survived.
After she died, were were called to the mortuary in the Clear Hospital to help her with chanting buddha. When we went there, their parents were not present because they had to hurry to other hospitals to see the two sons.

And they knew the girl was dying and went home to get clothes for her to change. At the mortuary in Taichung Clear Hospital, there is a bed made of bricks and tiles. The decease was lying there. When we went there, only the girl was lying there. There is another mortuary on this side, it was empty. Though her parents were not there, we entire group still surrounded and helped chanting for her.
It was like, the body lay beside the wall and on a bed made of brick. Men were sitting here, and women were sitting there. We helped chanting for her in this situation. We kept chanting and heard that a girl was crying while chanting Amitabha. If we chanted loudly, she cried loudly. If we chanted lowly, she cried lowly. When hearing the girl's voice. I turned around to see those laywomen, and none of them were crying. We have the constraint that we cannot cry while helping people with chanting buddha. If someone cries, I will advise him to stop crying. I saw none of the laywomen was crying. It was obvious that there was a girl crying and chanting Amitabha. I looked around, nobody was crying, but I always heard a girl's voice. If we chanted louder, she'd chant louder with us. She was crying and chanting Amitabha. I came to the other mortuary to see if there was a dead, and I saw there was no dead next door. Obviously, a girl was chanting and all the laywomen heard it. We all knew it by heart.

Next door to the laywomen was an alley and then a market. I wondered if there was a dead in the market. So I went over to see the market, and there was no dead. Ten people all heard a girl crying and chanting Amitabha. Till we chanted some time about an hour, her mother came with her clothes. Seeing a group of us were chanting for her daughter in the mortuary, she fainted. After she fainted, many people went to rescue her.
I said: “Don't be upset now, we are helping chanting buddha for her.” You may follow us. It will be difficult for us to chant if you are upset. Later, the doctor gave the mother a jab. Then we came out after chanting a while, saying we would go back after collecting the stuff. After going outside, I asked, “Did you heard the dead chanting Amitabha Buddha?”
All the ten people said they had heard it. I said, “I heard this girl was chanting Amitabha while crying.”
Layman Gao was one of them. That is him who bought the land of Lifespan Light Temple and donated it to us. Layman Gao lived next door to the family. His wife was there chanting with us on that day.
“That was her chanting. She lived next door to me, I can recognize her voice,” she said. Therefore, the dead girl really chanted Amitabha Buddha with us. So, people really can chant buddha after death. It's inconceivable. We're going to end the conversation for tonight. Amitabha Buddha.
