Everybody dared not to laugh, but he made faces again. Everyone held back their laughter. The more they held back their laughter, the more they wanted to laugh. Finally, they burst out laughing. Weird, why does everyone laugh today? Then he saw someone sitting in the abbot's seat. Why was he the Cloth Bag Monk? That's why everybody is laughing. How could the Cloth Bag Monk sit on the abbot's seat? Go, don't sit there. Abbot is coming. He was unwilling to go but made faces to the manner master. Everybody laughed again. If someone doesn't behave, the abbot will knock his head later. The manner master will be beaten and accused of being unable to lead the masses.

He kept pulling his ears, so he thought he was dragged. When reaching that position, he turned around and found out why that man was still sitting there, only his ear had been pulled far away by me. The Cloth Bag Monk's ear was quite long, but that was too much exaggerated.
Evidently, he was competent, and he had achieved the Arahant fruition. It turned out that only the ear was pulled long, but the man was still sitting. He was so shocked, he released the ear instantly, and the ear shrank back like elastic rubber band.

When the ear shrank back, the abbot happened to walk in and saw this stunning scene. This is a large temple in mainland. It's said most the abbots of large temples have certified fruition, manifesting as monks to liberate beings, and are competent people, so they are able to manage and lead so many monks. As the proverb says, You would lead 30,000 soldiers rather than lead 3 monks. Monks seem behave well but actually not easy to lead. Because the monks look majestic, you don't know their competency.
