Listening to the sermon, we are waiting for suitable stories, words for ourselves to be awakened. We are waiting for such a phrase. However, you do not know which words will suddenly open the lock in your heart. Pat. Fundamentally there is nothing. Where could any dust be attracted? All circumstances are at leisure, but ordinary people trouble themselves. This is how it is. So, the reason why we listen to the sermon is to accumulate deep and good roots.
Hence, I urge you to keep listening to the sermon. Occasionally, you come to listen to two classes, feeling delighted with the dharma, then you are gone for a few days, it interrupts. It needs to pile up deep … Because you do not know on which day or night, which story will just open your heart. Let bodhicitta come into your heart and become one and you have a heart as a buddha.
A person with great virtue followed a Chan master who had never taught him anything for 20 years, only said to him, I get up, and you get up, I sleep, and you sleep. I chop wood, and you chop wood. The disciple all followed him. However, he can not be inspired. One day, this disciple asked:

Master, I have been following you for 20 years, you never told me what Chan is. When his disciple continued to ask: What is Chan, Master? His master then: Xu … He awoke in a trance. Wow, it turns out that...the daily walking, living, sitting, sleeping, chopping wood, eating are all Chan. It's just me that did not comprehend. He has been beside the master for 20 years.
Master knew the causal condition has been ripe. When he was asking, then: Xu … Hoo! He awoke suddenly. Away from all controversy is called Chan. Even opening the mouth is superfluous. He then could comprehend.
You said, Oh, This is exactly the answer I'm waiting for. After going back, you still swear loudly to others. It does not help anyway. It is useless. Hence, we need to understand. The capability of internal achieving is definitely not controversial. Only then can we truly enjoy the blessings, happiness, peace, no quarrels, and solitude that reflects the true mindset of a Buddhist with neither arising nor ceasing.
It is the enjoyment of a perfect personality and submerge in the silent ocean at all times. Even if war breaks out, he is able to rise above the norm and become a saint in a chaotic world also present a lotus in the mud. Why? He has long achieved the immovable nature of mind. So you cannot interrupt listening to the sermon.

If you interrupt, you come today and may get inspired by a few words. Maybe a few words are inspiring and useful to you. But he comes to listen and watch every day, that is different. Because he accumulates good roots and blessings, just waiting for the moment of a causal circumstance. Sometimes, it's a phrase, a story of the master. Insert this key into the lock. Pat! It is open. From then on, he becomes a man of no action, an idler without action, inaction. Then he comprehends the dharma of inaction.
