About the retribution of bad karma, there is realm of hungry ghost. He saw the Holiness, Maudgalyayana. Maudgalyayana often went to the hungry ghost realm to ferry beings. So, there are several volumes of the Sutra of hungry ghosts asking Maudgalyayana: Various stories are very inspiring.
The ghost said: Your Holiness, my body is like a lump of flesh without hands and legs. Without eyes, nose, and ears. Only have a mouth. The bigger is my body, the more pain will I have. Many animals and birds came to bite my body. I was in great pain! Your Holiness, what evil cause have I created, can you tell me?"
Everyone, listen to me carefully. Maudgalyayana said: In the past, you opened a pharmacy. If someone wanted to abort a child, you sold them abortion pills. When a child is aborted, of course his arms and legs are broken, and his eyes, ears and nose are not yet grown. Therefore, this is the reward of your life. And all sentient beings, those children that you aborted have manifested themselves to bite you, so you have this reward.
Now it's just a flower reward. But because of the karma of the killing, you still have to fall into hell in the future. Therefore, I hope you to repent as soon as possible.
So, ladies and gentlemen. Do not sell abortion pills. Do not work as a doctor to abort babies for women, or work as a nurse to help people get abortions. You should never guide your friend to do abortion. If you did that. you must repent. Or, you will get the reward of being a lump of flesh.
