panchay paavahi dargahi maan

panchay sohahi dar raajaan

panchaa kaa gur ayk dhi-aan

jay ko kahai karat veechaar

kartay kai karnai naa hee sumaar

dhoul dharam da-i-aa kaa poot

santokh thaap rakhi-aa jin soot

jay ko bhijai hovai sachiaar

dhavlai upar kaytaa bhaar

dhartee hor parai hor hor

tis tay bhaar talai kavan jor

jee-a jaat rangaa kay naav

sabhnaa likhi-aa vurhee kalaam

UNDERSTANDING THE MANTRA
---

Physicists define Universe as ‘everything that exists, everything that has existed and everything that will exist ‘- meaning thereof that Universe consists of spacetime, forms of energy and physical laws that relate them.
So, the Universe encompasses all of us, all of history and ideas and all knowledge about Mathematics & Logic.

Can we exist apart from the Universe in which we live and move and have our being? Definitely ,No; because we are an essential part of the Universe and by no means distinct.
So what we are, so is the Universe and what the Universe is, so are we - being an intrinsic and inseparable part of it. We are in it and of it, we are same in our constitution and essence.

Now whatever we manifest as attributes, qualities and energies like - Our intelligence, intuition, judgement, will power, love, compassion, kindness, patience are therefore the attributes of the boundless whole called Universe- We see that in this Universe everything is progressing,growing, changing & advancing;this is true of humans,flowers,plants,animals & everything-all exist and collaborate together within the encircling compass of a grander, greater, unifying, cosmic life and this cosmic life too is not a finality but is only one of countless other grand and unifying Cosmic Lives which fill the boundless dimensions of the cosmic spaces.

We wonder at the Perfect Plan & how the things are going on with such a precision & perfection inspite of all the imperfections of all things.

We need to understand that all things move according to law and order and that we are all akin and Universe is our home.Some rule or law or discipline (Dharma) is holding all the diverse energies together - compassion, love, kindness and patience are the attributes which act as the binding forces to bind the entire humanity.

So let’s chant this mantra while meditating on the grandeur of the Universe, be one with the Cosmos.
