Đại Nguyện
Nguyện 18 trong 48 Đại Nguyện của Phật A Di Đà :
Nếu con được thành Phật, mà chúng sanh trong mười phương dốc lòng tin tưởng, muốn sanh về cõi nước con chỉ trong mười niệm, nếu không được toại nguyện, thì con chẳng trụ ở Ngôi Chánh Giác, trừ kẻ phạm năm tội nghịch và gièm chê Chánh Pháp.

Lời Khuyên Tịnh Độ (Ấn Quang Đại Sư)
“ Ấn Quang từ Tây qua Ðông, từ Bắc xuống Nam, qua lại hơn vạn dặm, gặp gỡ nhiều người. Trong số đó, lắm kẻ bình nhật tự vỗ ngực là bậc thông Tông, thông Giáo, coi Tịnh Ðộ như uế vật, chỉ sợ nó làm bẩn lây đến mình. Lúc lâm chung, đa số chân loạn tay cuống, kêu cha gào mẹ. Trong số ấy, có những người trì giới niệm Phật già giặn, chắc thật, dù Tín Nguyện chưa đến mức cùng cực, tướng lành chẳng hiện, nhưng đều an nhiên mạng chung. Vì sao như vậy? Là vì tâm thuỷ trong lặng, do phân biệt nên xao động, đục ngầu, sóng thức trào dâng. Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

Asaʼnkẖ nāv asaʼnkẖ thāv.
Countless names, countless places.
Agamm agamm asaʼnkẖ loa.
Inaccessible, unapproachable, countless celestial realms.
Asaʼnkẖ kėhahi sir bẖār hoe.
Even to call them countless is to carry the weight on your head.
Akẖrī nām akẖrī sālāh.
From the Word, comes the Naam; from the Word, comes Your Praise.
Akẖrī giān gīṯ guṇ gāh.
From the Word, comes spiritual wisdom, singing the Songs of Your Glory.
Akẖrī likẖaṇ bolaṇ bāṇ.
From the Word, come the written and spoken words and hymns.
Akẖrā sir sanjog vakẖāṇ.
From the Word, comes destiny, written on one's forehead.
Jin ehi likẖe ṯis sir nāhi.
But the One who wrote these Words of Destiny-no words are written on His Forehead.
Jiv furmāe ṯiv ṯiv pāhi.
As He ordains, so do we receive.
Jeṯā kīṯā ṯeṯā nāo.
The created universe is the manifestation of Your Name.
viṇ nāvai nāhī ko thāo.
Without Your Name, there is no place at all.
Kuḏraṯ kavaṇ kahā vīcẖār.
How can I describe Your Creative Power?
vāriā na jāvā ek vār.
I cannot even once be a sacrifice to You.
Jo ṯuḏẖ bẖāvai sāī bẖalī kār.
Whatever pleases You is the only good done,
Ŧū saḏā salāmaṯ nirankār.
You, Eternal and Formless One.

Albert Einstein once said - “Information is not knowledge”. In the world of today what we see is flood of information in which we may drown because we are really starved of knowledge. Knowledge is power. Unless & until we know, we can’t do anything ; But knowledge becomes our real power when it is applied. Without its application in real life ,it is only information & has no relevance. So it is important to get information & then turn it into knowledge & wisdom . This can be achieved if we meditate by focussing our energies & trying to know the Ultimate Truth, for that is the Ultimate Knowledge & that too is purpose of our lives.
So let us chant this mantra to attain knowledge ...
