Furthermore, this Mrs. Huang told everyone another story, "King Yama sent ghost heralds to look for people." This happened five years ago. The house next door to her was rented to a mother and daughter.
One night when Huang was dreaming at midnight, she suddenly heard a knock on the door, and many people were calling to open the door.
Huang asked loudly, "Who is it?"
People outside the door responded: "I am ordered by King Yama to look for someone." Huang said loudly: "Our family believes in Amitabha Buddha and has nothing to do with you King Yama. Go away!" After saying that, she began to recite 'Amitabha Buddha' in a loud voice.
After a while , she stopped and listened carefully. It was silent outside, so she opened the door and saw a group of people walking toward the main road.
There were people playing gongs and drums, some holding flags and boards. The last one wore a green robe, sitting in a large sedan, carried by four people, and they strode forward. Meanwhile, Huang recited 'Amitabha' even more desperately.
When she woke up, it turned out it was a dream, but she was still murmuring, 'Amitabha'!
The daughter of the family next door was only 18 years old. Because a tumor grew on her neck, about the size of a pigeon egg, she had to go to the hospital to have a surgery to remove it. Then the mother and daughter went to a hospital in Taichung City together. Unfortunately, after the operation, she died.
This realm on this day was exactly what Huang saw in her sleep. On the third day after chanting Amitabha to drive the ghost heralds away, Huang felt the girl was very pitiful.
She didn't know that the mother and daughter were going to the hospital for surgery. If she had known, she would have blocked them from going.
Three days ago, she dared not tell the mother and daughter her dream that King Yama sent ghost heralds here to look for somebody because she did not know whether it was false or real.
She was afraid after she spoke out, people would denounce it as a demonic word to confuse people, so that she dared not speak out to remind them.
It's a pity that they don't believe in Buddhism, and they don't know how to recite the Buddha's name to resolve their grievances. Once the impermanence comes, those who are not sure of reciting Buddha's name will be at the mercy of King Yama and have no choice but to go with him. In case a Buddha chanting person reaches the end of his life, only the Three Sages of the West will come and guide him to the Buddha's land. He could have achievement in this life and never fall into the six realms again and suffer from reincarnation.
Therefore, I would like to advise all readers to come and be mindful of the Buddha more often, so as to save yourself.
