Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

Sister Chang'e also has an eldest daughter named Rong, who is called Ah Rong by everyone. She is 43 years old now. Her husband is a civil engineer, and they lives in Taitung.
Ah Rong had been suffering from gastroptosis since she was a teenager. Chinese and Western doctors have been treating her for decades, but no secret recipes or specific medicines had worked, so she had been very scrawny.
Five years ago, sister Chang'e visited her daughter in Taitung. When seeing her daughter's serious stomach trouble, she thought of the Agatha medicine that can cure all diseases. So she advised her daughter to dedicate herself to being mindful of the Buddha and talked about many incredible inspiring recitations of Amitabha Buddha, teaching her to recite the holy name of Amitabha desperately for the most effective spiritual treatment.
The elderly laywoman lived in Taitung for more than ten days and heard that there was a Buddhist lotus society nearby. She then brought her daughter there to chant buddha, worship buddha, and converted to the Three Jewels.
Since then, her daughter has been a faithful and devout Buddhist as a disciple of the Three Jewels.
No matter how busy she is, she always attend the two lessons in the morning and evening. Unknowingly, her stomach disease that had been suffering for many years disappeared, and her health returned to normal.
In just one year, under the guidance of the masters and lotus fellow. Not only can she chant sutras and sing praises, but she also learns to beat ritual instruments while doing morning and evening lessons in Lotus Society. As the saying goes: Nothing is arduous in Buddhism as long as you can focus your mind. It is so true.
After Ah Rong recovered, her family became more affluent, and she rode her bicycle to do grocery shopping and work. In the last two years, she considered the bicycle inconvenient and bought a red 50 C.C. motorcycle to replace it. She could go wherever she want, it is comfortable and convenient, and she was happy all day long.
Sometimes she helps with Buddhist affairs, while other times she helps with her husband's business. She especially puts the housewife's work in order, both inside and outside.
In March last year, one morning after 8 am, Ah Rong rode her motorcycle to go shopping at the food market. When she was halfway through the ride, suddenly, something went wrong with the engine. Both the foot brake and hand brake lost control. Instantly, the bike was rampaging like a wild horse.
She probably had been rampaging every road in Taitung as fast as wind and lightning, and she almost hit a native woman. Fortunately, the woman dodged quickly and avoided the disaster. At this critical moment, at the juncture of life and death, Ah Rong was so frightened that she couldn't do anything but kept on running.
Just as she was about to rush into a store and hit the big pillar in front of the door, Ah Rong suddenly yelled "Amitabha".
Strange enough, the motorcycle immediately backed up to the middle of the road and stopped automatically. Ah Rong hurriedly got off the bike, and her complexion was white with fear. Her heart was pounding and her mouth kept murmuring "Amitabha".
At that time, there were many people gathered around, both she and the bike were safe. Everyone wished her well, saying: if she survived a catastrophe, she must have a blessing in the future.
After going through this disaster and avoiding misery, Ah Rong remembered that, fortunately, her mother was so kind and persuaded her to be mindful of the Buddha.
First, she could stay away from serious diseases, and then she was liberated from this unforeseen misfortune. She was so grateful that she invited her mother to Taitung and played for a few months.
The above inspiring recitation was told by Chang'e personally in the fellowship association after she returned from Taitung.
