The Buddha is the teacher of the world and the loving father of the generations. Those who devoutly convert to the Buddha can eliminate their sins. Those who recite his holy name will get immeasurable blessings.
Then there is another story of Sister Kuan Jin's third son Jinchuan, who has been trained by their mother to believe in Buddhism and realize the benefits of being mindful of the Buddha.
Therefore, after enlisting in the army and receiving training, he strictly abode by the military regulations, and recited the holy names of Amitabha Buddha and Guanshiyin Pusa in leisure time.
He often received blessings from the compassionate Buddha. Such as when swimming, he saw a white-clothed great master manifesting in the void above his head, and that was inconceivable.
Time flies, Jinchuan returned home at the end of his three-year military service, who had received good military training and education, and was a free-minded young man.
He had been reciting the holy name for three years and become a well-behaved and wise man.
After returning home, he went to the flour factory to thank the chairman and others for caring for his mother during her military service.
At that time, an employee in the factory saw that Jinchuan was loyal, simple and handsome, and she was willing to betroth her daughter to him to form a beautiful marriage.
Sister Kuan Jin saved a total of 10,000 NTD in the three years, including the retirement bonus, and used it as the cost of marrying a daughter-in-law. What an windfall to have a frugal and virtuous daughter-in-law.
Soon, he bought an old house in the north district and started his own business.
Under Jinchuan's honest and earnest management, his business thrived day by day.
Five years ago, he demolished the old house and built a new house with concrete and steel bars.
The statues of Buddhas are enshrined upstairs, and Sister worshiped and practiced day and night, enjoying the domestic bliss.
Hence, everybody said it was by virtue of the blessing from the Buddha, which was also the good fortune she obtained after changing her destiny.
