Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

This Episode:
"When you change your brain, you change your life.” ~ Dr. Rick Hanson.

Revolutions in science have shown that the brain continues to change and adapt even in adulthood, disproving the old belief that our brains are linear and unchanging. In this interview of his book “Buddha’s Brain: The Practical Neuroscience of Happiness, Love and Wisdom,” Dr. Rick Hanson discusses with Dr. Rebecca Risk an analysis of theoretical physics and Buddhism in language suitable for intermediate readers or newcomers to the field of neuroscience.

When we use mindful awareness, cultivate compassion and are fully present in our lives, we are able to transform ourselves by rewiring our brains. Using new neuroscience to explain insights and practices that are thousands of years old, Dr. Rick Hanson helps us to understand how we can reshape our minds for greater happiness, love and wisdom.

The Show:
Falling through the cracks will help you take back your health and thrive through every day, instead of surviving. Each week we’ll give you tools and advice on how to get your health back. In our society a lot of people are feeling unwell, and their doctors aren’t able to help them. Given bills of health, their lab tests are normal, but they are in excruciating pain and debilitating fatigue. This is Dr Risk’s story, and she eventually had to help herself through a very long journey to the health she has now. Dr. Risk has dedicated her life to guiding those who have fallen through the cracks in our health care system to achieve wellness so they can live their lives, instead of just surviving. Tune in to Falling Through the Cracks, broadcasting live every Monday at 9 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Health and Wellness Channel.
