Keynote speaker: Mr. David Cadman, Harmony Professor of Practice
at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and Visiting Professor
at the University of Maryland. He is a Trustee of The Prince of
Wales’ School of Traditional Arts and a Fellow of the Temenos
Academy.
1. Islam and the environment
Speaker:Mr. Ibrahim Abdul-Matin is a Muslim environmentalist,
philosopher and writer. Hewas a sustainability policy advisor to
New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, and the founder of the
Brooklyn Academy for Science and the Environment.
2. Christianity and the environment
Speaker:Dr. Catrin Williams is Reader in New Testament Studies
at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Research Fellow
at the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. She
has served as Vice-President of Cytun, the ecumenical body in
Wales, and as a member of the Standing Commission for Faith and
Order, World Council of Churches, Geneva.
