Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

[15] What two kinds of wisdom should be learned on the Bodhisattva Path?
Surely, as practicing on the bodhisattva path, we cannot just settle ourselves, we need to observe outward. That is to observe the obstructions to knowledge. kinds of wisdom: one is the wisdom of introspection. The first light shines on ourselves. The second ray of light shines on others, how to help others. It’s just that the second one is more complicated, while the first one is more profound. The wisdom of emptiness observation is profound, but it is simpler. If you understand, you understand. If you don’t understand, you don’t understand. The view of falsehood is different. I vow to learn the infinite Dharma. It is very profound and vast. You need to study psychology, science, and interpersonal relationships.

The bodhisattva path has too many obstacles to knowledge, and is bewildered by the dust and sand. If you follow the Hinayana path, you only need to do one thing – introspection. Therefore, Hinayana Buddhism does not emphasize the observation of falsehood, because it is founded on the mind of renunciation. The appeal of its life is to leave the three realms as soon as possible.
Therefore, the Hinayana Dharma is to live with fewer karma, and fewer wishes. The fewer affairs, the better.
In addition to the inner adjustment of emptiness observation, Mahayana Buddhism also need to observe the falsehood and adjust others, and live in the midst of many things, many karma, and many wishes. This is what the Bodhisattva precepts are like. You must learn the infinite Dharma.
In addition to helping yourself to be free from suffering and attain happiness, you should also help sentient beings to be free from suffering and attain happiness.
[16] Why does the Pure Land School place emphasis on the wisdom of emptiness?
The Pure Land School surely does focus on inner adjustment.

I found that the first half of the appeal of the Pure Land Sect was a bit like the Hinayana. The first half was about the Saha world. Look at Master Yin Guang, he said, “Before you are sure of birth and death, mind less on other's business. The behavior of Pure Land Buddhism is somewhat similar to that of Hinayana before one seeks to be born in the Pure Land. But it is not exactly the same. Because he has hope in mind, he postpone the schedule benefiting others . Therefore, in the Pure Land School, it emphasizes the wisdom of emptiness observation. As for benefiting others, it is a little different from Tibetan Buddhism, where one is reincarnation in the three realms from life to life.

You see those Tibetan Buddhists, they are amazing. Look at the courses of their Buddhist colleges. They have to learn Feng Shui, fortune telling, and divination, because they have to come into contact with countless sentient beings. Every sentient being has different tastes and requirements, so they all vow to "learn the infinite Dharma doors." But in the Pure Land Sect, if you learn this, it will be a mixed practice.
But, everyone. I want to remind all the Pure Land Buddhists that you need to know one thing: Everything Tibetan Buddhism does, one day you will have to walk this path. So we cannot slander others, we should rejoice and praise them.
【17】You need to be broad-minded and pave a good path for your future
Why do we need to study extensively when we practice Dharma and only need a few teachings? You just need to expand your mind, you need to rejoice and praise others first,
4:00
and you need to pave the way for the future. If you slander a certain Dharma door, it actually has no impact on others, but it only hinders yourself.
You say that the Yogacara school has nothing to do with you, but you will become a Buddha one day, so can you not study the Yogacara school? Is it possible not to learn Madhyamaka (middle way)? Is it possible not to learn Avataṃsaka (flower adornment)? You have to realize the infinite number of samadhi. The wisdom of view of falsehood is extraordinary. It is not just the path to liberation. You have to achieve the path to Bodhi.
So, after learning countless Dharma, we do not have to get involved, but we should rejoice in all merits accordingly. When you arrive in the Pure Land and become close to all the Buddhas in the ten directions, your path to learn Buddhism will be smooth because you rejoice and praise them. The road we walk in this life may be short, but we must plan for the future.
