Welcome to Da Ai Headlines. I'm Siri Su. Thank you for joining us. In New Taipei City, a fire broke out at Huatai market at the end of February. Since the fire took place at a clothing store with many flammable items, the loss was great. In the aftermath of the fire, Tzu Chi volunteers and the borough chief cleaned up the scene.

In Taiwan, for many years, Keelung Tzu Chi volunteers have been helping underprivileged families. Tzu Chi has signed a charity work MOU with the Keelung City Government, hoping to provide better care to more residents in need. Let's take a look.

3. 平溪送輔具
Tzu Chi volunteer Wu Wenzan delivers second hand assistive devices to families in need. In March, he remembered a recipient from last year, and paid a visit to them. Upon his arrival, he found their electrical bed is broken. Therefore, Wu brought this recipient another bed.

4. 后里家具送暖
In Taichung City's Houli District, a couple fell in love for 20 years, yet before marriage, Ms. Chen suffered a stroke. For 8 months boyfriend Mr. Chen stayed by her side. As they faced financial difficulties, Tzu Chi volunteers reached out to them.

5. 屏三癌吳來福
In Pingtung, Wu Laifu was diagnosed with 3 different cancers 7 years ago. Tzu Chi volunteers helped him walk out from depression. Now, besides doing recycling, he can also work and help other less fortunate people.

6. 肉食的代價(2)科技防汙染
In the early days of Taiwan, the raw waste water from the livestock industry was usually discharged into rivers and the soil. Recently, the government implemented the user-pay concept. The government has helped many farms reduce pollution and save water.

In Malaysia, Kelantan Tzu Chi volunteers hosted the second aid distribution for the people affected by the pandemic. Let's take a look.

8. 尼縫製布口罩
The relationship between Tzu Chi and Nepal started from the floods in Nepal in 1993. Until now, in addition to food and anti-epidemic supplies, the Nepal Buddhist Association also cooperated with Tzu Chi to organize skills training programs.

In the Philippines, a couple with many children scavenge for a living. The couple don't have a cart for collecting, so they must rent one and use it during midnight hours. But now the husband has been diagnosed with tuberculosis, Tzu Chi volunteers brought the family a cart.

11. 花法華讀書會
In Hualien's Jing Si Hall, there's a group of senior volunteers who are in their 70s and 80s. They have been participating in a study group and learning Dharma diligently.
