Tzu Chi volunteers in Malaysia reconnect with a recycling volunteer again.
Tzu Chi Foundation constructs a semi-permanent classroom for Purebodhi Education Foundation.

Welcome to Da Ai Headlines. I'm Sandy Yang. Thank you for joining us. In Malaysia, a former recycling volunteer, Law Saw Yong, has lost touch with Tzu Chi volunteers. Because of her eye disease, she had not been to the recycling station for some years. Recently a Tzu Chi volunteers ran into her and found her in distressing situation.

In our next story, we continue to see how Tzu Chi volunteers have reconnected with Law Saw Yong. Besides from taking her to the recycling station, Tzu Chi volunteers gave Law Saw Yong’s house a thorough cleaning and also new haircuts for her and her son. Here’s more.
3. 雪隆火災家訪
In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a unit in an apartment complex has caught fire. The resident is a solitary senior, who was saved by the neighbors. Upon learning of his plight, Tzu Chi volunteers visited him and delivered consolation cash.
4. 吉蘭丹紓困
With the spread of the pandemic, people’s livelihood has been severely affected in Malaysia. Many residents are struggling with financial difficulties, therefore, Tzu Chi volunteers in Kelantan held a four-day distribution to offer relief.
5. 菲元宵義賣
In the upcoming Lantern Festival, volunteers in the Tzu Chi Philippines Chapter are making glutinous rice balls to raise funds. These colorful rice balls are all made of healthy ingredients, and the proceeds will be used as construction and charity funds. Take a look.

6. 雲組合屋啟用
Tzu Chi Foundation helped Purebodhi Education Foundation in Huwei, Yunlin to build prefabricated classrooms for Buddhist education. Due to shortage of funds, the lessons could only be held in shipping container classrooms in the past. Now they have a more suitable space to promulgate Buddhist teachings.
7. 新芽兄妹回饋
In Taiwan, a pair of brother and sister, Zeng Dewei and Zeng Jingyu who are New Shoots scholarship recipients regularly come to Tzu Chi Pingtung Yanpu liaison office to volunteer. Tzu Chi came to their aid when their father passed away. Now they are standing tall and helping others in need.
8. 環保電路健檢
Every summer, volunteers in the recycling station would use electric fans to ventilate. However, the use of multiple extension cords is dangerous, as it would cause fire or passerby to trip. Therefore, at least six recycling stations in Kaohsiung, Taiwan have recently conducted a circuit check to ensure volunteers' safety.

In Fuding, China, an old couple has dedicated themselves to doing recycling. When the husband was young, he worked as a transport worker to support his family of seven. After retiring, he joined his wife in protecting the environment. Let’s see the story.
10. 逐岸傷痕3 - 彰化芳苑
Changhua’s Fangyuan has the largest intertidal zone in Taiwan. Aerial photographer Chi Po-lin once took photos of the area to show the world Taiwan’s unique intertidal zone culture. However, with the rapid construction of wind turbines, not only did the landscape of Fangyuan wetland has changed, the migratory birds and white dolphins are also facing ecological catastrophe.
