Welcome to Da Ai Headlines. I'm Siri Su. Thank you for joining us. Mozambique was devastated by Hurricane Eloise last month. In Buzi, about 10,000 residents were evacuated to tent areas set up by the government. However, the food there is limited. Therefore, Tzu Chi volunteers have prepared corn starch, beans, cooking oil, and utensils and delivered them to the affected residents.

23 year old Soares is from Mozambique. In 2019 Cyclone Idai destroyed his house, and through a friend's introduction to Tzu Chi, he began volunteering. Passionate about photography, he took on the responsibility of capturing the moments of affected residents.

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines recently recognized the Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines for its support in humanitarian assistance. The recognition Tzu Chi has received also indicates that they will continue to cooperate in the future.

In Malaysia, 37-year-old Ong Yong Mei is a clothing salesperson. Due to the pandemic, her income has greatly decreased. After her father suffered from an illness, the family faced financial difficulties. Tzu Chi volunteers provided care and also living subsidies, helping this family through this difficult time.
5.花監關懷
During the Lunar New Year holiday, Hualien Prison guards remain at their post. To show them some care, Tzu Chi volunteers visited them. In addition, Tzu Chi volunteers purchased some stationery items for an inmate's child. Let's take a look.
6.關懷修繕入厝
Next we head to Changhua's Xiushui Township, where Tzu Chi volunteers are helping care recipient Ms. Peng. She has been raising her two children on her own since her husband passed away. Her house is not partitioned well and does not have a restroom. To help them, the volunteers are remodeling the home and building a restroom for the family.

A recycling station in Fuding, Fujian, resumes operation on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year holiday every year. Volunteers drove vehicles to homes to collect recyclables and volunteers at the recycling station did the important sorting.

At Zhongli Recycling Station, Liao Yide specializes in sorting recyclables. In the past, he was often misunderstood by people due to his cerebral palsy. Now, he is keen and capable, and even his mother is surprised by his change.

However, research shows that prolonged sitting can actually increase your risk for chronic health problems. Doctors advise for every 50 minutes of sitting; 10 minutes of exercise is needed.
