Nam Mô Pháp Giới Tạng Thân A Di Đà Phật Lời Khuyên Tịnh Độ (Ấn Quang Đại Sư) “ Ấn Quang từ Tây qua Ðông, từ Bắc xuống Nam, qua lại hơn vạn dặm, gặp gỡ nhiều người. Trong số đó, lắm kẻ bình nhật tự vỗ ngực là bậc thông Tông, thông Giáo, coi Tịnh Ðộ như uế vật, chỉ sợ nó làm bẩn lây đến mình. Lúc lâm chung, đa số chân loạn tay cuống, kêu cha gào mẹ. Trong số ấy, có những người trì giới niệm Phật già giặn, chắc thật, dù Tín Nguyện chưa đến mức cùng cực, tướng lành chẳng hiện, nhưng đều an nhiên mạng chung. Vì sao như vậy? Là vì tâm thuỷ trong lặng, do phân biệt nên xao động, đục ngầu, sóng thức trào dâng. Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

Fujian Tzu Chi volunteers visited the Zhong family to help with cleaning right before Chinese new year.

Kaohsiung City Mayor visited Master Cheng Yen at Kaohsiung Jing Si Hall hoping to further cooperation with Tzu Chi.

1.漳州鐘家打掃
Welcome to Da Ai Headlines. I'm Joyce Ho. Thank you for joining us. During the winter distributions this year in Zhangzhou, Fujian, Tzu Chi volunteers came across the Zhong family, where the husband was in poor health and his wife mentally disabled. More than 10 volunteers gathered to help clean up the house for a refreshing Chinese New Year.

2.泉州林寶珍
Quanzhou 泉州, Fujian Tzu Chi volunteer Lin Baozhen has been committed to the recycling mission for more than 7 years. Something made her replace the stylish outfits for recyclable collections everyday on the tricycle. Why? Let's take a look.

3.黎明環保感恩
On Chinese New Year's Eve last year, a fire devastated Liming recycling station in Taishan, New Taipei City. Immediately after the unfortunate event, Tzu Chi volunteers set up tents to not only continue the recycling mission, but also organized vegetarian promotion events and ceremonies, as they looked forward to rebuild the station.

4.慈濟獨老關懷
More than four years ago, Taipei Xinyi Tzu Chi volunteers came to know Grandma Huang, who was living alone after the passing of her husband. Right before Chinese New Year, the volunteers visited with red bean soup and spring festival couplets.

5.北慈罕病家訪
Apart from taking care of patients within the hospitals, Tzu Chi medical services also extend into the communities, visiting patients in their homes to make sure they receive help following their return from the hospital.

6.上人其邁
Kaohsiung City Mayor Chen Chi-Mai and his team visited Master Cheng Yen at Kaohsiung Jing Si Hall, both parties hope to further cooperation on senior long term care services and to promote social welfare.

7.歲末仙女讀書
At Kaohsiung Jing Si Hall, there are 7 senior Tzu Chi volunteers that people call the Seven Fairies. With an average age between 80-90 years old, the Seven Fairies do not only undertake the daily cleaning duties, but also study Master's teachings in a weekly book club, cultivating blessings and wisdom at the same time.

8.馬蔬食教學
Malacca Tzu Chi volunteers gathered six care recipient families at a recycling station on the Ethical Eating Day to share with them nutritious vegetarian recipes and encouraging them change their eating habits to respect the lives of all sentient beings.

9.北海線上捐款
In Butterworth, Malaysia, Tzu Chi volunteer Ong Beng Keong is promoting one person, one good deed campaign on social media. The reminders to have good thoughts and do good deeds everyday is especially important during the pandemic to accumulate kindness and blessings.

10.知蝠與惜蝠(3)蝠中惜福
There are 38 species of bats in Taiwan that do not only feed on dengue fever transmitting mosquitoes, but also help maintain ecological balance. However, the abuse of pesticides has dramatically reduced the number of bats. Conservation groups in Taiwan are trying to reverse this trend and restore the ecology needed to protect this important species.
