How sorrowful this is!!

Embraced By Amida - My Journey to the True Pure Land Way (淨土真宗行), describes the trials and tribulations of a serious follower of the Buddha Dharma, in his painful search, for a suitable path to enlightenment.

After struggling blindly for 30 years, first with the strict practices taught by eminent monks from the Theravada tradition, and thereafter, with the various good practices of the Mahayana and Vajrayana Schools, he was fortunately awakened by the True Pure Land Path founded by Venerable Master Shinran. Truly settled in Entrusting Faith in Amida Buddha's Primal Vow in 1994, he knew then, that this is his last deluded birth, in the dreadful cycle of birth and death.

May all who are brought here due to the ripening of good karma from the past, listen deeply to the wonderful teachings of Master Shinran and receive the Consciousness of Entrusting Faith in Amida Buddha and His Primal Vow. With the sudden awakening of this Shinjin (信心) in us, we would then, be able to accept His Great Compassion and single-heartedly recite His Name - Namo Amida Butsu (南無阿彌陀佛).

This Inconceivable Gift of Shinjin from Amida Buddha, absolutely guarantees our birth in His Land of Peace and Happiness. It is our Easy Path out of samsara - the dreadful cycle of relentless birth, suffering and death.
