When it comes to religion, we should have a positive belief. Nowadays, many religions have gone astray. Many have a one-sided comment that my religion is the best and everyone else is bad. So I cited the Bodhisattva keyūra mūlakarma sūtra
in the last session, cited the Daoist Wake Up Heart True Scripture, and cited the Christian Gospel of Matthew. Those religious lords are arguably very broad-minded, benevolent, and loving. They all emphasize that If you don't cultivate, believing in me will be in vain. They dare not say believing in me will work. It's not like this.
As humans, we have to cultivate. Worshiping Buddha or God is the same. Also, the lords of each religion disapprove of gossiping about other religions defects. If you don't believe, let me cite the Treasury Sutra. It says: “Teaching without resentment is the teaching of Buddha. Because the Buddha taught people not to hold grudges, not to argue or accuse. That is not to debate and not to sue each other, which is Buddha's teaching. The Buddha taught you never to calculate. The teaching without slander.

He absolutely wouldn't say my religion is better and other religions are worse. If believing in Buddhism, you will go to the West. Believing in other religions will be useless. The teaching without slander. That is teaching you not to slander others teachings, and this is Buddha's teaching. Thus we know, Sakyamuni Buddha is very merciful, very fair, and equivalent to say this word.
In addition, it's said in Christian First epistle of St Paul to the Corinthians, Christianity says indiscriminate love. The love here is indiscriminate love. People with indiscriminate love have endurance, and they are kind. A kind person will give alms and do good deeds. Not jealous is the same as the Buddhist saying of not to slander. Love is not to boast. Those who believe in Lord will go to heaven. People who believe in other religions will go to hell. Not to boast like that. Not to be arrogant or flippant. Not to argue with people like crazy and strive to win. Not to do shameful things. What are shameful things? It's shameful to do things that are illegal or immoral. Not to seek those are beneficial for yourself that is to benefit sentient beings instead of yourself. Not to be irritable. Not to turn hostile or get angry easily. Not to care about others' evils. When someone does evils, we should advise him, not to get angry or disgusted. This is true indiscriminate love.

In the Book of Rites, Confucius said: “Repay a grudge with virtue. Although the other party is bad, we can transform him with our morals instead of rejecting him.” That's great kindness. The Book of the Way says: Return good for evil. No matter how evil a person is, we can reform and inspire him with morals. Therefore, every religious lord is kind and generous. It's the mistakes of missionaries and believers that cause disputes between religions. All believers are convinced that the only way to ascend to heaven is to believe in their religion. That is a very biased idea.
Once, I met a Christian. What did the Christians tell me? You must come to believe in Jesus. If you don't believe in Jesus, any reason you say is futile. Although you have a point, but you still have the original sin. Suppose you believe in Jesus and are baptized, you will be eligible to go to heaven after you die. If you don't believe in Jesus, your original sin still exists. After you die, no matter how well you behave, you can not go to heaven and will go to hell.

If ordinary people hear this word, they usually are attracted. But my mind is firm, I don't believe this stuff. Those who believe in his religion can go to heaven. Others will go to hell. This is nonsense.
Let's look at the Christian Gospel of John. Jesus told his followers: “When the dead hear the voice of the son of God, he will rise again.” But you have to notice, the word – rise. Those who don't understand would say: the dead bodies will come back to life. After death, he is resurrected. It's not. If so, it's a wrong idea. I remember when Taiwan was just restored around 1950. There is a so-and-so indigenous village. Because there was no video recorder before, I would say the place because of the small spread, but now it's not. If the content is broadcast, the whole country will know. What if someone lives in that village is in a bad mood and opposes me, I'll be in trouble. So I only pointed out the event but not its name.

There was a couple in a certain village. One is Christian, the other is Buddhist. One is Christian, the other is Buddhist. The husband said, One can go to the West by chanting the Buddha's name. The wife said, No, You have to believe in Jesus and can only be resurrected after you die. One day, the two were quarreling, the husband drank wine and was in a bad mood. He picked up a stick and hit his wife in the head.
