Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

When we understand the illusory nature of time. We don't need to worry about age. People often worry about aging. There is nothing to worry about. Time is an abstract concept. We can go back in time and into the future. But how to do it? If you have money, buy a ticket to travel through time.
Nowadays, scientists are working on this project. I am afraid I can't wait.
There is a simpler way in dharma. What's the method? Meditative concentration. Deep meditative concentration. Time is going to be broken. You ask, is there such a person? It is not easy for ordinary people to understand. People who practice meditative concentration perceive it easier.
Meditative concentration is not simply sitting still. I've been sitting for a while, why did I not? No hurry, it's just beginning. If you gradually forget the time, you can perceive more or less. Do not think of time, do not think how long. Concentrate and calm down. When you are so calm that even you forget who you are, where you are, and what you are doing, time seems goes very fast. When someone reminds you to eat, you may not have eaten in half a month.

I am not exaggerating. Closer to us, Venerable . If you are interested, you can read his biography. There records the meditative concentration of Monk Xuyun.
Once Monk Xuyun lived in a hut, he cooked for himself. What did he cook? He dug some wild veggie and potatoes. He built a fire, cooked casually by himself. While cooking, he sat aside in meditation. Then, time elapses.
Not far away, another practitioner came to visit him because he didn't show up for a long time. When he came in, he found grass growing on the pot. What's the concept? Many days had passed, and the food was remained untouched. Then he invited him to exit meditation. After exiting the meditation, Monk Xuyun said, "You came at the right time, I just cooked something that should be ready. You can share with me” Turned around and took a look. Sorry, it has already grown grass.
Then the practitioner said, Pal, when did you cook it?
I am not sure when, there is no calendar here. I just sat for a while. It might have been half a month. See, just a while.

Theoretically, when a person is in good mood, he loses track of time. That is the similar experience. When the mood is extremely comfortable and forgetting the time, doesn't it break the concept of time?
The meditative concentration practiced by Buddhists is this simplest and most effective method to break through time. In fact, it is superfluous to say breakthrough, because time itself is a concept. It's just that we think it exists.
