Chapter 33 - PART 1 | Reciting The Sutra on Infinite Life | 讀誦無量壽經 1 | The Holy Audience present

PART 1 of 'Reciting The Sutra on Infinite Life', first introduces to us, the marvellous significance and benefits of listening deeply to this Sutra, that promises poorly-gifted spiritual idiots like us, an easy path to enlightenment.

Then, as we recite this excellent English translation, we would come to understand, that, to deliver this wonderful Sutra, is the true reason, why Shakyamuni appeared in our world.

The recitation of this lengthy Sutra, has been divided into 15 videos, according to subject episodes, which may be recited separately or continuously, as we wish.

PART 2 (ep.3 to 6), describes the Buddha's glorious, majestic features, and Bodhisattva Dharmakara's beautiful verses and strong aspiration, to saved all suffering beings.

'Amida Buddha' media channel, is dedicated to the accurate dissemination of the wonderful expositions of Venerable Master Shinran on The True Pure Land Path, known as Jodo Shinshu. It reveals the Precious Gift of Entrusting Faith in Amida Buddha's Primal Vow, freely given by the Tathagata of Unhindered Light and Life, to all suffering sentient beings, assuring them of birth in His Land of Peace and Happiness at the end of their lives.
