Buddhism Wisdom Story - Incarnation of Pickup Bodhisattva 化身拾得大士

Among the stories of Samantabhadra's manifestation and incarnations in the world, the most widely known is the legend of Master Pickup in the Tang Dynasty. He was picked up and raised by Master Fenggan. Later, he had intimate friendship with Master Cold Mount, who was allegedly an incarnation of Manjusri Bodhisattva.
Because all three resided in Guoqing Temple on Mount Taintai, later generations called them the Three Hermits of Guoqing.
