Nguyện 18 trong 48 Đại Nguyện của Phật A Di Đà :
Nếu con được thành Phật, mà chúng sanh trong mười phương dốc lòng tin tưởng, muốn sanh về cõi nước con chỉ trong mười niệm, nếu không được toại nguyện, thì con chẳng trụ ở Ngôi Chánh Giác, trừ kẻ phạm năm tội nghịch và gièm chê Chánh Pháp.

“ Ấn Quang từ Tây qua Ðông, từ Bắc xuống Nam, qua lại hơn vạn dặm, gặp gỡ nhiều người. Trong số đó, lắm kẻ bình nhật tự vỗ ngực là bậc thông Tông, thông Giáo, coi Tịnh Ðộ như uế vật, chỉ sợ nó làm bẩn lây đến mình. Lúc lâm chung, đa số chân loạn tay cuống, kêu cha gào mẹ. Trong số ấy, có những người trì giới niệm Phật già giặn, chắc thật, dù Tín Nguyện chưa đến mức cùng cực, tướng lành chẳng hiện, nhưng đều an nhiên mạng chung. Vì sao như vậy? Là vì tâm thuỷ trong lặng, do phân biệt nên xao động, đục ngầu, sóng thức trào dâng. Do Phật hiệu nên tâm thuỷ ngưng lặng. Bởi thế, kẻ thượng trí chẳng bằng kẻ hạ ngu, biến quá khéo thành vụng về lớn vậy!”

A fire broke out in Ruifang, New Taipei City. Tzu Chi volunteers helped with the post fire cleanup.
Ecuador carried out another COVID aid distribution while spreading the message of love and support.
1. 瑞芳火災清掃
Welcome to Da Ai Headlines. I'm Jenny Lee. Thank you for joining us. In Ruifang District, New Taipei City, a fire broke out at 2 am taking the life of a homeowner. The family survived but mourns for their loss. On the next day, volunteers from worked with Keelung Tzu Chi volunteers to clean up the house.
2. 桃巴陵送物資
In Taoyuan, a peach farmer, Grandpa Chen's house was destroyed in a fire 2 weeks ago. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the fire. Upon learning the news, Tzu Chi volunteers went to provide aid and offer support.
3. 豐原寒冬送暖
Every year, Tzu Chi's winter distribution aid is mainly food, but this year has been particularly cold. Many care recipients don't have thick bedding to keep themselves warm. For this reason, volunteers prepared warm quilts for those in need.
4. 中正蘿蔔糕結緣
Unlike years past, Tzu Chi's reunion banquets with care recipients are cancelled. Taipei Zhongzheng District volunteers made and delivered turnip cakes to care recipients and bring them some holiday cheer.
5. 新山線上隨師
COVID-19 cases in Malaysia have surged and the government ordered another lockdown. Fortunately local volunteers can attend the year-end blessing ceremony and listen to Master Cheng Yen's teachings online via a live link.

6. 厄防疫發放
Tzu Chi volunteers in Ecuador carried out the sixth aid distribution in San Mateo, Portoviejo, Canoa, and Santa Ana. They delivered supplies to more than 1500 households while sharing the beliefs of helping one other.
7. 紐約疫起走過(三)
In today's series about Tzu Chi in New York, we will meet a care recipient Zhang Liping who suffers from lupus. At the low point of her life, the volunteers provided companionship and care. Now she gives back in return.
8. 大陸參訪
Guangdong Lantai Charity Foundation has been established for 8 years. Recently the members from the organization arranged a trip to Jiangsu to visit Kunshan Recycling Education Station.
9. 印環保黃秀莉
In Indonesia, a Tzu Chi volunteer, Elly Widjaja, makes good use of her kitchen wastes and turns them into eco-friendly enzymes. Besides being able to use it for cleaning, the enzymes can also be used as fertilizers. Take a look.
10. 腦海有你有我(三)腦庫現況
Taiwan only started a brain bank at the end of 2019. Prior to this, Academia Sinica had to obtain brain tissue from other countries which are genetically different from the local population. Now a temporary brain bank at NTU Medical School has become an important resource.
